my dream was about a person who came to fix something in my home...i didnt know him, but he was a bad person....(i am a good person) but i hit him and killed him, then i put him under the ground in my garden, no one noticed that he'd gone missing for years, but one day my dog was burying something in the garden and dug up the body...this sounds too weird but as soon as the dog found the body, there were police everywhere, i tried to run but i could not get away, like my legs were made of lead, the police unearthed the body and it was my brother, i even saw his decomposed face, it was terrible (me and my bro are very close)...i tried to wake up from this but i couldnt, when i did wake i was so upset that i called him straight away, i am having work done in my garden right now and i can see the lads digging...i just cannot get this out of my head, i have no clue to why i dreamed about this but i feel so like crap right now..yes the mind is a powerful thing....i just cant fiure it out

could this be a warning or a sign that something bad may happen to my brother, he's in good health and life for him is good...when i saw his face in my dream it scared the hell out of me...like Pamela O said, i was trying to scream and reach out but i was paralised.....i knew i was trying to wake up, but i just couldn't, it was ever so scarey, when i woke i looked out into my garden and the lads were digging, that made me feel even worse....can anyone tell me what this signifies...i just cant get my head round it

Theres actually a name for what you're describing but with me not being a scientific boff I dont know what it is!!! But basically its something similar to an out of body experience where the fear is so great within the dream that you are left in a temporary state of paralysis even when you do wake up - you loose the ability to even scream
I dont know what causes this but Im sure if you google it you may be able to!
The bad news is that whilst these nightmares only happen very rarely - the tend to follow in patterns of two to three nights.
I know this coz my friend who is a doctor told me when our other friend started experiencing them . It might help if you leave the light on tonight - I wish you a good peaceful nights sleep though hun. xx

Yes its very common. I've had several dreams in the past that have been very realistic and upsetting. Once I had a dream and in the dream I got shot in the stomach. I could actually feel a warm gathering sensation where the bullet hit and I felt my eyes close and darkness come over me as though I was dying.... It was very weird and so real I can still remember it vividly. I've had dreams where family members have died which were very real and upsetting for the whole day. I've even had dreams where my boyfriend has cheated on me and I've woke up feeling angry at him. The human mind is a very powerful thing.

I had a dream in which I was involved in an accident and it seemed so real..Although I was careful, I was hit by someone who ran the traffic light.. However, I used to wake up about 5:00 a.m (without an alarm clock) and I would meditate and pray. When the accident happened, the other driver blamed me and I was charged. However, the case was put off several times because he said he had a witness. During one of the postponements, he went to jail. The case was thrown out during the final hearing. Some say dreams are not significant. However, if you believe in God, they can be like Joseph and Daniel's dreams- to provide revelation information.

I had this dream where this dog was chasing after me and i couldnt run, it was like i was paralysed to the spot, this dog sank its teeth into me and i felt EVERYTHING!! the intense pain, the fear, numbness, shock then eventually darkness, everything went black and i thought id died, soon after id woken up, i was still disturbed!!!

I also had this recurring dream of when i was younger, and my younger brother died in my dream, and while it was happening these sirens kept going off in my head, its the sound a car makes when the alarm goes off continuously, id hear it in my waking state and it would bring it all back to my mind, it was so weird, when i woke up i was scared s******* and i checked out my brother straight away to see if he was okay, he was only 3 or 4 at the time and i was around 9 but i hoped nothing would ever happen to him.

well they are the most disturbing dreams ive had...

I once had a dream that I woke up and went to the toilet and noticed my other family members bedroom doors open, when I investigated they had been brutally murdered by my dad (he was never violent in real life) I then had to try and get out of the house without him getting me. It was such a realistic dream that when I did wake up I thought I might still be dreaming and had to check whether it had happened or not. very scary. but more commonly I get really real dreams where I have either won loads of money or got something I really want and wake up really happy until it sinks in that I was just dreaming....blast my subconcious!

Many people dream about bad things. It's usually because of stress. If this was just a dream that happened once, it was probably nothing. If you have had this dream over and over again. It could be something in your childhood and would seek help. Many people find a dream book to try to understand their dreams. Look up some books that are available. One may help you greatly. Best wishes :)

Yes, this happens to me. Sometimes I think that it is soooo real that I have to really concentrate before I figure it out that it was just a dream. If the dream is about a person, that feeling may stay around for a day or two.
