A bit of background, this girl works in a shop I used to pop into, I'd asked her out several months before but she said she was sorry but was unavailable at the time. The next time I went in she apologised and said she felt bad, I just smiled and said basically 'well if you're taken then that's a pretty fair excuse'

I sent her a msg through MySpace, this was the main part:

First of all I asked you out as you have the most beautiful smile I have ever seen, straight up, it can totally light up a room. Couple that with the fact that you seem like a genuinely nice person then it seemed like a no brainer. Secondly, what you said to me the next time I came into the shop, honestly that was the nicest thing anyone has ever said to me, you showed yourself to be an extremely nice person and having read your MySpace you seem to think that you are ugly, well no bs but you are far from ugly, no-one with that smile and that face could be regarded as ugly in any way, shape or form.

After finding my long lost Dad (despite everyone telling me he was scum) after 33 years, I made a joke about the size of his xmas card and he took it the wrong way. Now he has said he wants nothing to do with me, the kids and my hubby, In a very verbal and abusive way.
I dont need him never had, just would have been nice to have a Dad that was a Dad like my hubbie is to our kids.

I have a guy friend, and we have the whole "physical attraction" thing but we don't actually like each other like that. Do you think it's ok to like make out, or would it just mess us up? It's not like we're really good friends. Actually, we just met about a month ago.

I have this friend who is very competitive and controlling. She's a manager for a credit company and I've known her for years. I'm a a creative free-spirit. Recently she invited me to her kid's party and I was so sick (got in a car accident) but showed up to help. After helping, I tried to participate but she told me I was acting like a kid so I went to her room and talked on my phone for a bit. She got mad at me and ended our friendship. She did a lot of things that made me question her loyalty. She knows I'm working on my credit/bills and she gloats about her perfect credit. She is cheating repeatedly on her mate so she never wanted me around him but the only time I saw her animated was when she talked about how this guy satsified her or how she left some girl in the dust at work. I don't know why she just makes me feel so bad. I have talent and my own husband but why don't I trust her around him? I know he'd never want her. I'm hurt she dropped me. I never betrayed her.

my babies' father (yes, they have 1 father) has had like 6 jobs in the last 4 months. i know this because i get a piece of paper every time he switches jobs to allow at 4-6 weeks to receive my child support. the sorry sob has 5 kids, ages 1 to 16. he is not going to hold a steady job so why won't they just go ahead and lock him up for nonpayment? he's over 3 grand behind on just my oldest son. i can imagine how far behind he is on his 16 year old.

p.s-- when i got with him, i only thought he had one child. by the time i found out about the others, i was already hooked.

He is a control freak, stops her from seeing me, hates her spending time with me. He only sees her twice a week and has taken her car because she has epilepsy and can no longer drive. He causes her to have fits by stressing her out and arguing about me, he also has an unhealthy interest in my younger brother, will do anything for him. My mum says he is jealous of me but why does she let him do this? I dont know why she is with him. He has ruined our xmas because i cant even go round to see her because he will be there and she will let him slag me off and stop her from talking to me. Its just me and my boyfriend this year and im so depressed because i just want to be with my family, and i dont understand why she has chosen him over her own daughter,i would do anything for her. He just treats her like **** using her and walking all over her. I really dont know what to do i have told her everything i feel. She shows no interest.

theres this guy- nathan- and this girl- lezlie- and me. i like him, and im pretty sure he likes me (pretty sure! not positive), but EVERYONE knows lezlie likes him, too (maybe except him if he's that thick). she like rests her head on his shoulder and plays with his shirt and writes stuff on him... its so sickening! but bak to the question...

had a relationship with a man for 3 1/2 years then I found out that he had been cheating for 10 months. I stayed with him for another 3 years trying to make it work (counseling included). He was the love of my life. When I finally walked away for good... about 8 months later I met someone else. It's been about 4 months with the new guy and he's already proposed to me, but my ex has been begging me to come back to him and wanting to try marriage counseling again and I believe whole-heartedly that he is truly sorry for all the wrong that he's done and that he truly loves me. He wants to marry me now. Before the ex came back into the picture, I told the "new" guy that we should stop seeing eachother until he gets all of his affairs situated (going through divorce after 17 years.. 4 kids in San Fran & wasn't sure if he would stay up north or stay in LA). I don't know what to do. Sounds complex... my heart is with the ex, but he's hurt me BAD. Should I give it another chance?
