its hard to to move on even when a guy is a complete a**. I stayed with my ex for 18 months, when he treated me horribly and all my friends adviced me to leave him but i loved him and i thought he would change or that he loved so it was ok,even after i finnaly did end it and found out that he had been cheating on me (he still denies it to this day) (and wants me back) i found it really hard to let him go. i didnt like hearing friends and family tell me he didnt desreve me and what a jerk he was,but then i met a wonderful man who treats me like a queen and we are together 18 months later and now i know my worth. I found him only when i had the guts to let go of my ex. Be strong and do the same you will be amazed at the outcome.

It's a guys nature to be with as many people as possible in order to procreate...we only have long lasting monogamous relationships as a result of overcoming the temptations out there.
He may be sorry, but be aware, if it happened once...chances are exponentially higher that it may happen again.

Did it happen only once? If he cheated once he'll do it again. You didn't indicate that you gave him any reason to cheat so he really just did it for nothing, all because he wanted to. Leave him alone. Be smart. Liking a person doesn't mean anything nowadays.

I say you give him a second chance...tell him this will be his last, and he'd better not screw it up (though I don't recommend you include the "better not screw it up" part, lol).
If you like him, and he says he's sorry and won't do it again, try to give him another shot -- maybe he learned his lesson the first time.

Yes, you might still like him, but he did it once...he could do it again. You don't deserve the heartache. If you do give him another chance...watch him!!
