It's not as good as having physical attraction with someone you love, like and trust. But it might be better than nothing.
It can work, or it can end up badly. You need to use condoms, so you don't get pregnant or catch something nasty. Biggest risks after that is that one of you falls in love with the other, or that is causes some sort of drama with other people you know.

As long as the two of you enter into a friends - with - benefits type relationship with your eyes open and your expectations reasonable, I don't necessarily see a problem with it. The problem is that it is tough not to get emotionally involved. I had a relationship like that for a long time. It was great, a lot of fun, but ultimately was dissatisfying.

It's better when you know each other a little more than you and your friend do, but I don't see why not. It's a lot easier than having a boyfriend, I'll tell you that. You're still technically single, but at least your urges are satisfied.

If you guys really just want to stay friends and none of you want more from the relationship you can have a purely physical relationship. Just watch out if one of you catches feelings for the other.

Hell yeah! You are young and you probably don't need to be tied down if you have the opportunity by all means knock yourself out. Just be true and honest and you should have him for years to come. I have a friend like that and we have been very good friends for over 12years. He is always there for me, it's a beautiful thing just don't ever start to play games with one another. Good luck.

It sounds like a actual authentic friendship to me. I have a large number of human beings I chat to, a number of which i wager with the help of your description will be classed as 'acquaintances with reward'. see you later as you experience comfortable with them & you both comprehend each and each others limitations it sounds large. not some thing for me beats chatting to my someone particular although :)

friends with benefits are the best kind of friends to have. As long as both sides are on the same page it can be one of the best relationships you will ever have, no drama.

Inevitabely, someone will become more attached, and usually it's the girl.
Someone ALWAYS ends up hurt in these situations. Either date him, or don't have sex with him, but you have to make the boundaries clear.

It's great if you have a mutual understanding about the limitations and no further expectations.
