I did! Ok the guy had some seriously bad timing! I was having a bad day and he was just a friend at the time, and he was trying to make me feel better. I really liked him and he was hot...I mean HOT...and not only did I instantly feel better, but I got really nervous too because he was moving in really close to me and hey, he was a good friend of mine so I didn't know what to do. He asked me what I would think of a relationship and the first thing I say "Well I really value our friendship and I don't want to lose that. You're a great friend.." and then he replies "oh I can understand that" and then he smiles. AS SOON AS HE SMILED...I knew I screwed up. Why did I say that..why? I have no idea. It just seemed right at the time, but really stupid once the minute passed. I blame it on nervousness. :-( It's ok- I know what you're going through. Don't kick yourself too hard- such as is life.

I was extremely shy and thought no one in the world would ever date me. I had a major crush on my next door neighbor just because he was the only person on the planet who would speak to me. Even though he was a jerk.

When a guy on the football team asked me to the dance, I said no. I thought maybe he was joking. I also thought I was "saving myself" for the boy next door. As the years wore on, the neighbor never stopped treating me like crap, and I suffered emotionally for it.

I do wonder what would've happened if I had said yes. It could have changed my entire life. But, I am very happily married now to someone else entirely, and life is wonderful so I don't think I would go back and find out. The mistake was made, but it didn't haunt me forever.

Oh man, this one is really painful. Here I am at the dance at school. I was with my friend Amy. No, not really a date, and yet really a date at the same time. Know what I mean? Anyway, another friend of mine was talking later on at the Dairy Queen and he was telling a rather dirty joke. Amy's mom just showed up to take her daughter home for the night. Instead of saying "I'll talk to you tomorrow", I said "I'll F*CK to you tomorrow". I STILL haven't lived it down yet!!!

About 2 years ago this really adorable guy asked me out and it caught me by surprise and I actually wasn't thinking and blurred out no! So I went back to him about an hour later and asked if the offer was still open to go out and we went out and now we're happily married.....so try that and see what happens.....Good Luck!

I was the one doing the asking...we were in college...She said her academic load and all that gives her no time to date...So, another girl approached ME about going out...when I said OK, the original girl changed her tune really fast...Suddenly, she wasn't so busy...We never actually went out out as in serious dating, but we hung out...we're still close...
