my babies' father (yes, they have 1 father) has had like 6 jobs in the last 4 months. i know this because i get a piece of paper every time he switches jobs to allow at 4-6 weeks to receive my child support. the sorry sob has 5 kids, ages 1 to 16. he is not going to hold a steady job so why won't they just go ahead and lock him up for nonpayment? he's over 3 grand behind on just my oldest son. i can imagine how far behind he is on his 16 year old.

p.s-- when i got with him, i only thought he had one child. by the time i found out about the others, i was already hooked.

Unfortunately many men do that job to job thing to get out of paying child support. If it is proven they are doing it for that reason...they can be prosecuted. It takes a whole lot of time for processing, and in the end it won't do your children any good. In jail, he can't give your kids any support at all. The Deadbeat...
Just don't let your children get dragged down because their father's worthlessness. They don't need to hear anything about it all. It won't do any good. As long as they have their mother to love and watch out for them, they'll do just fine! Blessed be and good luck!

they are reluctant to lock up a deadbeat father because.... jail don;t pay very well.
It's all in hopes they can get something from him when he does work.
