She got me a totally cool gift basket for a fun kid free night of movies. It had a movie, popcorn some smirnoff candy and everything. It was super nice. Now what should I get her? She has two kids and is married. Help.

I have a problem. My husband left his job about five weeks ago, for a number of reasons, so the money is really tight this year. The presents are bought but the food has yet to be. To be honest I really can't see me managing a full christmas dinner on what I earn. My parents have invited me and the kids to theirs for christmas lunch, but hubby isn't invited. There's a lot of bad feeling between them anyway, and the fact that he's quit work and dropped us in it big time hasn't helped.
Last year he stayed in bed all morning while the kids were opening their presents, and spent most of the day playing on his computer, and I'm pretty sure that this year won't be that much different. But I have a strong sentimental streak, and don't like the thought of leaving anyone alone at christmas, and even less taking the kids away with me. But given that it's because of him that we're in this mess in the first place, it's kind of hard to see how we can get round this. What would you do?

Long story short, I've liked him for a couple of years, he's in one of my classes now...yada yada. [we're 15]. k, he was my first major crush and all I can say was, I didn't know what to do so I'd always stare at him [at lunch, in between classes etc.] I always thought it was cute/funny, how he always [even w/his back turned] seemed to know I was looking at him, and how he'd turn around and look at me. That was the stupid me...like I said, now he's in 1 of my classes and he always looks at me now. I'm not gonna lie, I still like him, but now I'm kinda thinking he likes me 2. I can't really describe it, it's like the little things we do around each other, but in class i was reading and my teacher told me to put it away, and he was staring at me, and my friend was like why do you always stare at her do you like her? He has a very jokey personality, so he said yea I like her. It didn't sound sarcastic but I think it really was, I dunno.

And does that mean i have to marry her?

My first boyfriend of four years was black. He was very big. I know that all black guys aren't big but in a whole they are the race with the higher % of larger ones. Many studies have been done world-wide so yes, it is true. Most people just don't want to accept it. Well, 2 of my white boyfriends were worried and felt intimated after they found out I was with a black guy.

It is sort of like that episode of Curb Your Enthusiasm. The white guy was with a black girl and was worried that he wouldn't be as big as a white guy.

So, do you white guys feel intimidated by black guys and their bigger size?

Exchanged numbers with a dude at a temp workplace friday. He raved on about how lovely I am and is going to take me out on a date in the New Year.

After a mini bout of flirtatious texts on Friday, I have been ignored since.

In March he split from an engagement of three years and I'm the first one he's liked since...apparently.

Is it worth my energy of worrying about, or should I just ignore it. Or go with the flow? Ideas please everyone :) thankyou!

However 2 nights ago when I was with my new girlfriend she called me. I asked if I could call her back on friday (yesterday) she said fine. 3 hours later I get a series of very pissed off txt messages saying that I blow her off when I get a gf. Says I have no time for her because I'm either with a gf or I'm with other friends.

Facts: She is married. She lives 60 miles from me. She has a somewhat possessive husband who didn't even like the fact I was friends with her.

My question: Am I in the right in being able to be with my new gf for 3 days without talking much to my married ex? Or is she right in saying I'm not being true to the friendship? Or should there have never been a friendship?

it has to do with how they present themselves i guess. i just cant stand dumb little girls. i am particulary attracted to women that LOOK like eva longoria or something like that.

are there good looking women out there in that age range that would date a 23 year old. do they ever see a young guy and have it cross their minds? i have it together, you know.. a great job, nice condo, no debt, and i am pretty muature.

what do u think?

a man has a good wife, he knows it, but he's selfish enough to entertain conversation elsewhere. Though he hasn't tried to leave his wife, instead she leaves him after finding out about his interest elsewhere. Does the mistress win, or has the wife left the husband hanging?

*sidenote, he has accomplished a lot in life with his wife and she has always been loyal and honest with him. Is it worth it to him to lose her?

Why cheat, why not just be honest??? It's not the sex cause I give it whenever and however he wants it. I'm the only one who's stuck by him through all his down-falls. When we do split up he always comes back to ME. If he loves me as much as he says he does, why lie and cheat and mess a good thing up?? So I guess my real question is, why would a guy cheat and possibly mess a good thing up, something that won't come around twice??

I've known this guy comin to 7 mths. We talk everyday and couple of times. I started to like him after few mths as I enjoy his company. Tho we're just friends but how we talk, his attention towards me feel nice which I never felt even though when I was in a relationship last time. He was there when I needed him and I was there when he is going thru phases in his life. I do asked him what is his feeling towards me. There was once he told me he liked me but not the right time for us to be a couple. At that time, I felt that his feelings towards might not be strong. But recently, when I was away for the hols. he told me how much he missed me and he even called me twice when I was there. I was touched. We don't really have much opportunity to meet often due to financial reasons on his side. Recently, he told me his family will be having gathering and I jokingly told him, instead of telling me, why not invite me. He told me its not the time yet but 1 day, he will. Has his feelings grown?

out of curiosity I've noticed men have a fling on the side, the mistresses feelings get involved but no matter what he says to the mistress, he never leaves his wife. What do you think is going through the mistresses mind about the whole situation?

I have been married for 12 years-always faithfull, 3 kids and a good job. Me and wife do not fight or argue, kids are well behaved and respectful and there is no reason I can think of that explains why I want to leave them. I love them dearly-what gives? Why would I want to throw it all away for some potential new relationship?
