Hey ! You've done a big mistake by asking this question here !
A lot of suggestion which I think are harmful to you , are on their way to you .
Don't think you can run fast by having loads of energy .
Just remember the story : Slow & Steady wins the race !
I sadly say there is no one day trick to turn you into P T Usha but
Take this Advice for future .
PRACTICE EVERYDAY .
DON'T SET targets for each days in distances or time limit .
RUN TILL YOU TIRE &
RUN AT A COMFORTABLE SPEED ONLY .
( Don't get carried away to run like a bullet ! )
SLOWLY
1. INCREASE THE DISTANCE YOU RUN EACH DAY
OR
2. RUN FIX AMMOUNT OF DISTANCE IN LITTLE LESS TIME EACH DAY

You can't accelerate overnight. It requires preparation over a period of time. In the morning do some light workouts. And practice a few short sprints. Don't exhaust yourself though. Take a light breakfast and an energising health drink. Wear good running shoes. And mentally concentrate on the event only. Best of luck.

Hmm.. I continuously run with out an ipod. What purpose are you working the mile for? Is it for amusement or are you aiming to end first? in case you're working it for amusement, and all you opt for to do is to end the mile; then having an ipod on could be super for you:) although, in case you're working the mile as a race, then my advice could be nor to apply it. you would be able to recover from excited with it and it may impression your run. If I run a mile for a race, I run and that i in simple terms look straight away forward. All i think of approximately is my respiratory, although at present I even have immediately all started counting my steps..unusual huh? haha yet whilst it incredibly is a race, the Ipod could be super to get you going previously the race. good luck!

1) Just imagine you are followed by Tiger or Lion and u will get fantastic speed.... :-)
2) Make target
3) Complete ur sleep
4) don't think anything when u r running for ur targeted point, just look forward.
5) start ur running speed slowly and then make it fast. it will helps u to go long.

For next time, workout a lot over a period of months. For now, eat carbs today, get a good night's sleep, wear your best shoes, and hiss like a cat at your opponents.

u can increase the speed at once raise it gradually start at a comfortable pace then try to increase it dont overdo it one day try 10 min then start increasing the time limit also

dont think about tommrow is sportmeet. go for proper sleep and in the morning while running just think u have to run fast and dont see anybody just see the grass on earth. and run fast

Eat light but nutritious food. Concentrate and give your best. There is not much time to give you any training. You did not say the event.
