My friends bf said that he loves her but is not IN love with her? What does that mean?

2006-12-12 03:30:44 · 15 answers · asked by Anonymous in Singles & Dating

I have been seeing a man for the past 8 months who is still legally married. He was seperated and about to end an unhappy marriage. He told his wife about me and now all of a sudden she wants him back and says she still loves him. He is truly confused, as am I. We love each other but now he is torn because he feels guilt about his marriage - his wife says she deserves a second chance and he isn't trying hard enough to save their marriage. We have a long distance relationship but had been talking about moving closer to each other. Now everything seems up in the air. I love this man and I know he loves me. He has a son with his wife and doesn't want to risk losing him. Should I hang on and fight for him? He doesn't want to lose me he says but he feels he needs to work on his marriage. I am so torn,I love him.

Okay...so guys have this big thing with wanting to touch and play with everything....especially boobs...but do girls really like it...or is it just like...come on....quit playing with 'em and do something else??? And another thing....what do you like a guy to do to you the best.....(short of sex...that's a too little obvious)

ok i went on a date with this guy and afterwards he ignored the couple of casual messages i sent him. i guessed he wasnt interested and was trying to give me the cold shoulder hoping id take the hint.but the thing i dont understand is, hes not blocked or deleted me off messenger. surely if you never wanted to speak to anyone again and were trying to get rid of them that would be the first thing you'd do, especially as we're both on there a lot.i know it might seem like hes not interested but he hasnt cut off completely and thats what i dont get. what does his behaviour mean? serious answers only please, and please dont be rude as i really do need advice/opinions over this

To men that is. They would label women that. i know im not a skank. Everyone ive slept with is because we had a connection in some way and i actually like that person. But men don't understand that so im just curious. im 23 ive had 35 partners.

Hi, I'm 18 years old. My boyfriend of one and a half months never calls me, hardly talks to me when I'm online and only comes to see me on weekends, sometimes even every other weekend. It's not like it's hard to get here. We both attend colleges in Boston and he's about a 15 minute walk away. But when he does come to see me, he's all over me and tells me that he loves me and that he's never felt so strongly for someone before. Sometimes I really feel like he's just using me. I almost feel like the only way we can connect now is physically. In January, I'm transferring back to a college in my home state and I'll be living 4 and a half hours away from him, so I have no idea what to do. I'm thinking about breaking up with him, but before we started dating, we were really good friends, so I'm going to feel super bad. Opinons?

I have been broken up for nearly 5 years from my ex and haven't met anyone worth my time and I see my BF's ex's moving on and already dating and getting married to other men and I can't get even get a guy to take me out to dinner...I consider myself to be very pretty holding it down alone, and plus I'm not even over my ex yet cause I didn't leave him cause I didn't love him but that he has a substance abuse problem..(crying) I feel so bad and especially around this time of the year..everyone is married and happy and I'm still alone. And so is my ex BF alone dealing with his problem but he can find someone asap and be happy meanwhile I'm still alone and unhappy.

I have been dating this man for the past few years and all of a sudden for the past month or so he seems really distant, uninterested and I also found out he had been at his ex girlfriends house. He told me he was only there to help her son with something. I have a young child who loves him also. I need to find out what is going on I can't keep going on like this it is killing me. I am sick of my daughter watching me cry over this every night. PLEASE HELP ME....so I can finally prove to myself I need to move on.

I think soulmates/truelove is a true lie because everybody perception on what is love is different. You always hear women talking about finding true love but at the end of the day there this stereotypical type of guy that every woman loves. And when they find a guy that fit these stereotypes that’s there “True Love” Do you believe this is true?

What are the "sins" that would cause a break-up from the mans point of view?

2006-12-12 03:22:27 · 22 answers · asked by ? 2 in Singles & Dating

We moved out together about 5 months ago(were engaged), its been very rocky from the start, what bothers me, Is i paid for almost all the furniture, plus pay my exact half of every bill, and i buy all the groceries. Ontop of that I'm ending up doing most of the chores, laundry, cleaning, dishes, garbage, pet care, and once in a blue moon he may do something but thats rare. And he goes out with friends sometimes not coming home till late late 1 am or later. Since I dont have friends I'm a bit of a lonar, but after 4-5 years together you would think he would at least introduce me to his friends or offer me to hang out with them one night instead of leaving me behind. What would you do? I have 8 months left on the apartment contract and parents that want me home badly to get me out of debt and finish college. What should i do? I love him but can I really live with him....

I'm a Western woman dating an Asian man. It seems I'm much more likely to bring up a conflict with him, than he is with me.

Of course, I'm aware of different styles of communication in different cultures, as well as individuals. But I just can't help but wonder, since woman are "relational," if we're not more likely to be aware that a conflict exists, and sooner than men.

What do you think?

i see alot of you said i should ask for help. like a babysitter. my son is already 3 months old. and normally on the weekends we'll have one of the grandma watch him for 4-5 hours. i feel like having a baby was my choice and my responsibilty. i feel just awful asking for people to baby sit for me. even if it is just for a few hours. it would be SO nice to have a day to myself. but i just have the hardest time asking for help! (not from hubby of course) but outside help....anyone else feel like this? how do i stop feeling like this?
