Semantics. Language shapes the way we think, and the language has evolved over two thousand years of religious patriarchy, principally due to the fact that until only comparitively recently (in historical terms) the only people who could read and write - and could therefore propogate written language - were celibate clergy, inherently conservative and misogynist. Hence a woman who indulges in casual sex is a sl ut, a slattern, a whore, or worse, but a man who does the same is a stud or a real bloke. It is a dispiriting fact that there is no word in the English language to describe a sexually indiscriminate man in insulting terms nor one to describe a similarly inclined woman in laudatory ones. Beats me where the studs are getting their horizontal dancing partners from, but there you go. Things are changing, though language changes but slowly. My advice is, Fcuk 'em if they can't take a joke. You are responsible for nobody's actions but your own, and need you respond to nobody's opinion of yourself but your own. Life's too short. Have fun, and a plague on thine enemies. Etc.

Sweetheart, think of it as used purse or dress. Do you want to wear a dress that has been used one or twice or a dress that has been used by every Mary, Liza, Sherry, Samantha, Julia, Amy, Stacy, Teresa, Monica, Allison, ectc. Of course not, we do not like used goods. There is too much wear and tear on a woman's body down there when she goes around town or the football team. Pretty soon it will be wider and looser than the grand canyon.

Because there is a sexist double standard - women aren't supposed to like sex, they're only supposed to like "relationships" and they're supposed to only reluctantly have sex with men to get the man to stay with them.
This isn't true, of course - women like sex just as much as men do - but it does make women feel guilty for being sexual. And it will make other people criticize that woman - you know the deal, a man who sleeps with 100 women is a stud, a woman who sleeps with 100 men is a ****.
That is so unfair!

Depends how you go about this. If you shout it to the world then it's not about the causality of this, it's just taking something private and demeaning yourself unnecessarily by broadcasting your private affairs to anyone who will listen.
Find a partner (Or a few ) who will be able to satisfy your needs without behaving like immature jerks about it.
Use protection AT ALL TIMES. be sensible about this and make sure you are not doing this just because what you really want is the true love and respect from one special partner, it's really amazing when u find someone who adores your heart and soul. not just your body,
Be safe,
Irene.

D'you know Nellynoo, you are a very attractive woman, but I won't stir SOMEBODY ELSE'S PORRIDGE !
It's purely nature, it's in our animal sub-conscious, that the male is revered and feared and is then able to spread his seed amongst many females and is invited by the many to do so. For you the female your role in the animal kingdom is to mate with the alpha male and bear his seed and to go outside the pride would make you and the alien offspring outcast.
It's inherent we cannot sanitise those thoughts and feelings as they are brought about by chemical reactions in our bodies
Maybe you're just unbalanced my girl ?
That sounds about right

I think you talk bollocks! Where the \HELL do you live! It is perfectly acceptable for a woman or man to have any number of sexual partners as long as they do it discreetly (ish) and responsibly! To quote a very clever man, Monogamy is a type of wood!
As for Harry P and stirring the porridge, men should dispose of their own porridge sensibly, that is sexual etiquette for the 21st century!
So unless you live in the good 'ol U S of A where they think obscene violence is prefferable to sex outta wedlock, go forth, just don't multiply!

The only reason I can think of is that it's easier for women to get STDs.
And has it occurred to you that you're just making **** up in your own head? No one cares about that crap anymore. I mean there's a fine line, can't hope on to any thing resembling a dick and not expect to be called a ****. Just show some class and you can get all the dick you want and none of the negatitve connotations.

I don't think guys find it unacceptable for women to have casual sex. That rule was made by prudish women. Both guys and gals should be able to have fun and enjoy their bodies. Just be smart and safe about it.

See it's not really fine. The way I see it, when a guy sleeps around, that just makes him a male s*l*u*t. Doing what the guys do won't make everything right. I personally think its disgusting when a guy has a long list of girls he had sex with.

The only ones complaining about men sleeping around are women...
It's women that want us to be faithful and hold our selves for you...most men can give a rats *** about it, in fact most of us wish you'd all be a little sluttier....
...okay...I'm kidding, I was playing devil's advocate or something...
I think the standards for men and women, in regards to sex, should be the same: What's good for the goose, is good for the gander. Right?
