i see alot of you said i should ask for help. like a babysitter. my son is already 3 months old. and normally on the weekends we'll have one of the grandma watch him for 4-5 hours. i feel like having a baby was my choice and my responsibilty. i feel just awful asking for people to baby sit for me. even if it is just for a few hours. it would be SO nice to have a day to myself. but i just have the hardest time asking for help! (not from hubby of course) but outside help....anyone else feel like this? how do i stop feeling like this?

I am a grandparent and I want to tell you that My Wife and I do not object to having our grandson AT ALL! We absolutely LOVE having him as long as we are able to do so. We know that someday he will be older and not want to be with us or we may not be able to watch him as we age because of health. Talk with your parents and grandparents directly about this. Let them know that YOU LOVE YOUR BABY and NEVER want to leave him unless they feel the way we do. You are the baby's parent and it sounds like you are a fabulous mother. Have a great holiday season!!

once again its natural to feel this way, but understand that these people love to help out. chances are grandmas wishes youd ask for more help, they love spending time with their little grandchildren and it'll make her feel happy that shes able to help out.
