you're a skank if you publicly announce how many partners you've had.
being classy and lady-like has to do with modesty, nothing to do with the amount of partners you've had. you can have 100 partners, but never tell anyone, and you were respectful with anyone and they were all significant to you. i don't think that makes someone a skank.
to be a "skank" i would say, it is a woman who is promiscuous and has careless, reckless, unemotional, cheap sex, regularly with various partners.
the only reason a man would call you a skank is if he knew your history. there is no reason anyone in the world (even your best friend) needs to know how many people you've slept with. your own count is your own personal information.
