I had been seeing this guy for a few months, and he recently broke up with me. He says he had a mental breakdown but after everything happened he said I was perfect with what I did and how I handled it. He said that the breakdown was caused by things such as not having a family (both parents have passed away) being a 30 year old bartender and other things. Well 2 days later he ends it with me by saying he thought he was not ready to have a relationship. My parents spoil me and i said something about shopping on their credit card and he was like must be nice ! I dont get how I went from perfect to nothing. Any insight at all? Is he jealous I have a family or is he just an immature jerk who can not handle being a grown up????

Im dating this guy and weve been together for 2 months. During the first month my guy friend broke up with his g/f of five years and started telling me how much he liked me. I told him that we were just friends and that was all i wanted and that i was very happy with my boyfriend. Soon after that he started trying to break us up. All of my friends noticed it and got really pissed. When my boyfriend found out about this he confronted him. After this he acted like everything was ok and that he had no more feelings for me. Now everytime i am around him he makes these awkward and odd comments about how he wants to be with me and how he wants me. Yet, he says it when no one can hear him but me. What should i do?

I have been with my boyfriend for a while and I love him deeply; we are making our engagement official this weekend, and I am happy about it. I know that we're not perfect, we have small areas in our relationship that need to be worked on, just like anyone does. Im saying this because i want to make it clear that I am not "blinded" by love, I'm realistic. However I think i might be being too open minded?? Does that make sense? I know in the past ive been one to change my mind a lot and it seems like my life can be perfect but I still wont be satisfied. This is just my problem right? I have also had second thoughts about him in the past, not because i want to be with anyone else but because i was worried that im missing out on something. I believe in the sanctity of marriage and im a christian. I love him and I don't want to end up hurting him because of my own up and down emotions. Any advice??

I asked my friend three days ago if she would like to eat lunch together or just chill with each other. she said sure and "I'll try to fit us into the schedule". I saw her yesterday, I started to talk to her, make her laugh and just entertain her. I said "I think we should chill together sometime during x-mas break." she said " I had sides of me that you don't see while i'm at school" and I think she kept dodging my invite to chill with her. My wife of 13 years had an on-line affair with an old friend of hers and now wants to leave me. She wants to have split custody of our children. She would take our 6 yr. old daughter. I would keep our 2 yr. old son. I would like to know if a court would ever allow this. I am assuming (maybe incorrectly) if both parties agree then it would be allowed. this gut that I like, (and people think he likes me back) did something funny the other day...
he got a new phone, and then asked what my # is so I gave it to him, and asked him why he wanted it, and he said (jokingly), to annoy you...

so anyway later that day he texted me which was nice, and he didn't call me over he weekend and today at school he said he was sorry he didn't call...
does that mean he could like me??? and the cool thing was when he asked for my #, it was out of the blue, and cheered me up, because just a little while before this douche had broken my heart...

My bfr. is not right for me, I want to leave, but I am attending school here and it makes it difficult to leave. I have one more yr. to go. To rent alone is not an option since it's very expensive here, so I the only choice I have to move back with my parents that have it's own adv/disadv. I can attend a school where my parents are and get better degree, but i'll lose a yr, though it's cheaper there and I can keep all of my savings.
The problem is it's hard for me to make important decisions because of fear of failure/waisted time
P.S. I am 27, have 6yr old. not even divorced even though I separated with my ex 3 yrs. ago.
My bfr. is 46, has three children, and I don't understand why he doesn't want to marry me.

I'm sure it has happned before. When girls like guys and then when the guys like them they lose interest.
Why is that?
At first I kind of came to the conclusion that maybe I was scared of being cared for... but i don't think so?
Is it really because we look for something more challenging?
I feel stuck up because there's this guy who likes me, and he's super sweet and stuff. I never led him on (i don't think i did) and i don't like him. At one point I did. But then it creeped me out when I found out he did.
Are we still on the same page?
Am i just a late bloomer?
But it happens with every guy I meet, even if they are cute. Will I ever get over this? Because I can never have a relationship without wanting a way out.

Supposed to marry? We had a fight about me not communicating often.....we live miles apart and this year i make a trip to go join him finally after being in a long distance relationship for a nine months. We met on the net and things have been ok up until about a month ago where he always complains i don't email enough....not like he sends mail....yet he know i'm horrible at emails. yet in a weel i call him about three times on a bad week and on a good week i call him every night and talk for more than an hour. I stayed with this awesome chick and her family while I was backpacking in Washington State. I met her through a great guy I met in Seattle (I forget his name). Anyone who knows her... please!!! I have been trying for years to find her.

My Grandmother is feeling alienated by her husband who is not my biological Grandfather and his son. She has three sons from a previous marriage and he has one . They made a will together and asked that everything be split into fourths .
