every single day there is at least one person that comes up to her at school and says or does something mean to her...and she is one of the smaller girls at our school and guys think it is funny to pick on her

now i have told someone about this and they said they cant do anything unless i have some proof that this is going on.

when (if ever) do i step in myself and do something about this?

I do not sponge off of my parents, they do help me a lot because they know I work hard, his parents died at different times dad when 11 and mom at 18. He also basically supports his older brother. I have problems as well but why let go of someone who has your back in everything you do. Maybe I am just too good!

I am 15 with a baby (6 months) I just want to know why do yall act as if yall were never a teenager. okay so some of us get carried away and 9 months later have a baby to take care of our child what do that got to do with you. I mean we both are still in school. I'm not gon say that my baby was a mistake and neither should any other teenager say, becuz my baby was a blessing. And I'll chose to be at home with someone that give me joy then to be out parting. What I'm tring to say is that for all you parents who have a teen daughter os son with a baby, stop being so hard on them. This is the time they need you. Hey you was a teen you was just lucky enough to not have ti to happen to you. THINK ABOUUT THAT!!! yall just don't know what yall put yall children through.

THE SCARS OF LIFE

Some years ago, on a hot summer day in south Florida , a little boy decided to go for a swim in the old swimming hole behind his house. In a hurry to dive into the cool water, he ran out the back door, leaving behind shoes, socks, and shirt as he went.

He flew into the water, not realizing that as he swam toward the middle of the lake, an alligator was swimming toward the shore.

His father working in the yard saw the two as they got closer and closer together. In utter fear, he ran toward the water, yelling to his son as loudly as he could.

Hearing his voice, the little boy became alarmed and made a U-turn to swim to his father. It was too late. Just as he reached his father, the alligator reached him. From the dock, the father grabbed his little boy by the arms just as the alligator snatched his legs. That began an incredible tug-of-war between the two. The alligator was much stronger than the father, but the father was much too passionate to let go. A farmer happened to drive by, heard his screams, raced from his truck, took aim and shot the alligator.

Remarkably, after weeks and weeks in the hospital, the little boy survived. His legs were extremely scarred by the vicious attack of the animal. And, on his arms, were deep scratches where his father's fingernails dug into his flesh in his effort to hang on to the son he loved.

The newspaper reporter who interviewed the boy after the trauma, asked if he would show him his scars. The boy lifted his pant legs. And then, with obvious pride, he said to the reporter, "But look at my arms. I have great scars on my arms, too. I have them because my Dad wouldn't let go."

You and I can identify with that little boy. We have scars, too. No, not from an alligator, but the scars of a painful past. Some of those scars are unsightly and have caused us deep regret. But, some wounds, my friend, are because God has refused to let go. In the midst of your struggle, He's been there holding on to you.

The Scripture teaches that God loves you. You are a child of God. He wants to protect you and provide for you in every way. But sometimes we foolishly wade into dangerous situations, not knowing what lies ahead. The swimming hole of life is filled with peril - and we forget that the enemy is waiting to attack. That's when the tug-of-war begins - and if you have the scars of His love on your arms, be very, very grateful. He did not and will not ever let you go.

Please pass this on to those you love. God has blessed you, so that you can be a blessing to others. You just never know where a person is in his/her life and what they are going through.

Never judge another persons scars, because you don't know how they got them. Also, it is so important that we are not selfish, to receive the blessings and not pass it on.

Right now, someone needs to know that God loves them, and you love them, too - enough to not let them go.

The past year or so, a guy friend of mine has been very...friendly, to me. I was having a hard time so I didn't want to start a relationship or anything, so we were just friends. Lately I've been really starting to like him a lot more...but he's shorter than me. It looks kind of funny... what do you guys think? He's my best friend and we have a really strong connection. We're also pretty young. I'm done growing but I'm not sure about him. It's just kind of uncomfortable at times. Think it will still work out?

My husband is in the military so of course if something were to happen to him (GOD FORBID), there would be life insurance money left behind. He has 50% going to his mother and 50% going to me. We have 2 children and his mother already has her own husband. I don't want it to sound like I am being greedy and want it all to myself...it's not really even about the money (however, it is important that we can support ourselves if something were to happen), but it is more about the principle. I also found out that his body would be left to her so she can bury him. Both of these ideas are bullcrap to me. I think he is my husband and the day I married him he no longer belonged to his mother anymore. I don't think his mother would like the idea of her MIL having those benefits when it comes to her husband... so she gets to bury both mine and her husband?? Hell no... Or do you think I am just being over-protective?

On holidays my husband and our two children are expected to go over to his parents and my parents homes. No one will come over here, we've asked. They won't even come to our house for birthdays. They skipped my daughters last three birthdays because we had the party at our house. Would it be wrong if we just told them, sorry but we are staying home this year? How many people every year leave the comforts of home to visit family and don't get the returned comfort of having others over? I tried to ask my mother if we could come over on Christmas Eve instead of Christmas day but she changed to subject and told me dinner was on Christmas only. So anyone have an answer to my Christmas delemia? I don't want to be rude or act like family isn't important but can't they bend a little so my kids can spend their Christmas at home?

How many guys would want a genuine, long-lasting relationship with a girl who is saving her virginity for marriage? I'm a girl who is 21 years old, and I think that it will be very hard for me to find a guy who will be willing to make a geunie commitment to me since he would know that he ain't getting sex. I've dated guys but they seem to end it after a while, making up some excuse when I know that it's becuase of the no-sex thing.
Guys what do you think? Where can I guy who will want to commit to me?

is there a such thing as to much sex? im only 18 and ive been dating this girl off and on for almost a year and we have sex soemtimes up to 6 or 7 times a day or night sometimes only 1 but we have sex atleast once a day but is that to much. i actually lost my virginity to this girl when i first met her and ever since we jsut dont ever stop having sex. we never wear condoms ( I KNOW ITS TERRIBLE ) but when i first had sex with her we used them for the first couple times and thats it. she hates tehm and complains that either it hurts her or doesnt feel good at all. so of course i would cu*m real fast and i figured it would change after i had sex more often.. but really it didnt that much it went form about 5 minutes to only about 30 in a few months? i feel i cant satisfy my g/f becasue i cant have sex for hours even if i want to. and its real hard for her to have an orgasm unless we have sex a few times or for a long time.. would less sex help or make me Cu*m in a few minutes again?

Ok so my fiance and I both have full time jobs. However, he gets better bonuses than me and brings home almost 2x my paycheck. During a recent argument he told me that keeping the house clean, cooking dinner, and doing the dishes is my job because he makes more money than me. I honestly think he thinks this more because I'm a woman than anything. But anyways Is he in the wrong? Or is it really my job?

I want to write my own vows. Just want some opinions before i say them in front of everybody else. If you like them use them I know when I say them to my man that they came from my heart.

You are my chosen one.
I have loved you always and always I will love you.
God gave me the most perfect man, and I couldn't have done better if he let me make you my self.
I love you and I am proud to be your wife.

So I have been broken up with my ex for almost 3 months. We still talk and kind of flirt and a lot of the time I want him back. The reason we broke up though wasn't ever determind. We think we just got bored with each other and didn't see each other enough because we live in the same town at home but go to different colleges an hour away. Should I try and get him back over Christmas break or is it really not worth it.

PS. we were together for a little over a year.

was with this girl for 3 years im 20 now we lived togather and everything. We had jelousy problems with each other. I started to take her for granted and not realize what i had. We been broken up 2 and half months now we have contact still and met up a few times she tells me that she cant deal with my jealousy and that if i ever want anything to happen again that i need to be her friend and show her that we can get along she says that she liked me before why not again. i miss her so much i dont know how to get her back what is the way to go. Should i just not talk to her and if she comes back she does or should i put effort into and take my chances what you think my chances are??

recently life has been and is a toughie on me since i have finals week, then i have to get out of my dorm ASAP after a couple of hours after my last final on Thursday and to go home at some stupid party they have where i work part time. on the top of that my sister is staying wity me and i dont have a problem except that i am a wreck all of a sudden. i am crying since the finals are taking their toll on me and my relationship. i am about to leave this home for the holidays except that my bf is staying behind to work to make money to pay for the bills when he comes back since we are both university students-transfer that is- and i will not see him for either Christmas or the New Year. besides that next semester i have a full load and so does my bf but his schedule wil also include work, school, study, and a realtionship. that is where i told him that somehing will have to give at some point and he asked me if i am making him chose because, then real answer would be the relationship. help

virgins???
I'm really picky when it comes to guys and that is why I waited til this year at age 20 to have my first boyfriend and first kiss. I got hit on guys before but I always just ignored them. My first bf seemed really sweet and he kept chasing me & seemed really interested in me so I decided to give him a chance. I told him at the beginning that I wanna save sex for marriage and he said he was fine with that. But after a month he ended it saying he "was busy". I think the no-sex was probably the deal-breaker. I got really hurt cuz he made it sound like he could committ but then he just left. I've dated some guys after him but I think that guys don't wanna date virgin girls who wanna save themselves for marrige. It's hard to find a decent guy who will wanna see me as so important and not just dump me for some girl who will give him a pleasurable feeling that will last for like 5 minutes.

Based on Yahoo answers' advice, I happily agreed to my husband's request that we would have sex 2x a week and we sat down and made time in our schedules for it (Tu and Th of this week). But for the last two nights, he has tried to get me to go to bed with him at like, 8 p.m. when I have things to do (last night, helping my dtr with homework; tonight, a work deadline). I reminded him we had scheduled it as he requested. He says "I just want more sex." My feeling is that he didn't request sex when "we both want it," he requested it guaranteed, 2x a week, on the calendar, and that is what he will get. Now he is acting all hang-dog rejected and I feel bad.

My 14 year old cousin used to cut herself and now won't eat anything. She says she wants attention. I've tried to talk to her, but everytime I bring up the subject she blows up at me! I am so scared for her. Today she got so mad at me, I started crying. What should I do? Telling her parents won't help any. They don't care. :(
