The past year or so, a guy friend of mine has been very...friendly, to me. I was having a hard time so I didn't want to start a relationship or anything, so we were just friends. Lately I've been really starting to like him a lot more...but he's shorter than me. It looks kind of funny... what do you guys think? He's my best friend and we have a really strong connection. We're also pretty young. I'm done growing but I'm not sure about him. It's just kind of uncomfortable at times. Think it will still work out?

If height matters that much that it would ruin a relationshio your being kinda shallow. Height is just height. No one cares. If this was a real issue in the grown up marriage world then alot of girls would be single. You like him date him. Nothing will hurt a guy more than you going 'I love you, but it would never work out. Your too short!!!' Yeah. Way to go. You dont sound petty at all. I promise.
I dated a guy who was shorter than me, but it didnt work out. Not because he was too short, but because he cheated. The poor guy cant help his genes, dont punish him for it.

My bf is shorter than me too. Dont worry about it so much. You sound like you have the building blocks to a great releationship. Dont get something like hight get in your way. I didnt and my bf and I have been together for 2 yrs. If he feels really uncomfortable then dont wear heels when your with him if you can and talk to him about it. Guys also grow at a different rate the girls do so he may even sprout more than you can even think. Its possible that he may grow more.
Just go with your feelings and forget about the hight thing. Good Luck!

Well, I know that people see it as different when the man is taller than his gf, but I'm more than a foot taller than my gf (I'm 6'4", she's 5'0") and we've been together 5 years. It did bother me a bit at first but everything's worked out. Anyway, if you like him and he likes you then I wouldn't let anything like a slight hight difference get in the way! Best of luck to ya!

It's possible that if you have children together, one of them might inherit a small heart from his side of the family and a large body size from your side of the family, and end up bedridden as an adult because his heart can't pump enough blood to let him get up and move around.

my boyfriend also a little shorter than i am, and weve been happily together for half a year now...
first it bothered me a little, and him especially, but that changes quickly when you fall in love.

if you like him for him.. what does the height got to do with it?... if he is comfortable with himself.. you shouldn't worry about it...
