How many guys would want a genuine, long-lasting relationship with a girl who is saving her virginity for marriage? I'm a girl who is 21 years old, and I think that it will be very hard for me to find a guy who will be willing to make a geunie commitment to me since he would know that he ain't getting sex. I've dated guys but they seem to end it after a while, making up some excuse when I know that it's becuase of the no-sex thing.
Guys what do you think? Where can I guy who will want to commit to me?

i think that if someone dumps you because of an ethical decision that you made then they are wrong for you. just keep looking until you find someone that respects your decision and is willing to wait. when you find that person and you both agree on the decision and respect and love each other like noone else can then you will know that you have found the one.

Women who save their virginity like you do get married all the time in countries and cultures where relatives of the bride and groom arrange the marriage. They have no need for dating before marriage.

But you are not in a culture like that. And that's why you are having so much difficulty.

It's possible now to find marriage partners through the internet. And perhaps through the internet you can find a guy from another country and culture who will value your virginity and will want to marry you.

Although i respect your decision, I must say that sex is an essential part of a healthy relationship... It's not that us guys are animals and all we think of is sex... it's just that it's completely natural to have sex... if your decision is based on religious beliefs then you may have some luck in finding the guy that IS willing to wait by finding someone with similar religious standing. [In my university we have religious clubs and I know plenty of people there that like yourself committed to saving themselves till marriage] So in a recap, i'd say you have two options for a happy relationship... either find someone mighty religious (which could be a bad thing in itself [i don't believe in any god for example], or rethink your views on sexual relations... [but then again, these are just my personal thoughts...]

Whew this is a tough one here! Hmm let me think... Man.... Ok wait a minute....

All right I have come up with a solution, all though you probably won't like it. The only thing I could come up with, that won't be telling you a lie,or what you want to hear, is this:

1 out of maybe 10,000 males in this country will honestly wait until marriage to have sex after all ready have trying it. Those odds get slighly lower when you mention guys who are virgins and will want to wait until marriage to have sex after procuring a relationship. Let's see that's probably 1 out of maybe 25,000 males. In order to solve your issue, we'll have to focus on a way to increase your odds of finding a guy who will actually want to and has no choice but to wait for you.

I would suggest trying to become penpals with a guy in a minimum security prison who is maybe in jail for tax evasion, or fraud. I say minimum secuirty prison because if he's in a maximum security prison well you know where that is going... He's locked up, chances are he is very lonely, he'll remain faithful (hopefully) as he's in a prison filled with males, and hopefully he's learned his lesson and will not recommit the crime again. As soon as he's released from prison, get married, and viola you have a guy that will want to commit to you and pretty much has no choice but to wait until you're married to have sex. The odds of you finding a guy like this are probably 1 out of 400. That's better than the other odds don't you think?

stay true to your morals and beliefs....i am a guy and i fully support your stance....its not very often someone has such a high standard, and any guy that would end it over something so lame isnt worth your time, i wish i knew where i could find someone that shares your high standards and has as much class and self respect as you do, and for what its worth, im 21 myself and i am going the same direction as you are, but i think the pressures and influences are different with guys and girls, guys get pushed to do it by their guy friends a lot more than it would appear, not to say ladies dont get pressured too...but i commend you for holding out for the reasons you are

i think its great, not because im overtly religues, but because you arent jsut throwing yourseklf out there, your waiting for love, so that it will mean somthing. i wouldnt leave you if we were dating, hell it would make me think higher of you.
