I have a friend who lost their wife only 8 months ago. He has now (last 2 months) found a new love. My friend and his wife had a great marriage and he was devastated by her death but I just cant understand how he can move on to someone else so quickly
The woman seems a nice person but I find it really hard to deal with this situation (they are all over each other) - any thoughts on this matter ???

I work with this girl who is my assistant at work. We have become very good friends and are around eachother alot because we work together. We are out to lunch alone together every day. Every one around us thinks we are dating. We had a talk about how we both entertained the thought of dating eachother. We really didnt elaborate alot on the issue, so I told her a week later that I wanted to finish the conversation. This time when we talked I asked her if there was something going on between us and she said " I dont know what to say about that". Later that night she texted me and told me she was embarrassed and sorry she couldnt talk to me earlier. So we talked later and I asked her if she was thinking the same thing as me, but never told her what I was thinking. She told me yea she was thinking the same thing. It has been 2 weeks since this conversation. Is it too late for me to make a move?
I really want to kiss her. Should I try and see what happens? Does she like me?

I need help! My entire life I've grown up in a mostly white suburb.
Suddenly, i get to highschool (freshman) and BAM! Black guys... I don't really care for them and it makes me feel terrible! Why am I not attracted to my own race? It's awful! And whats worse is that I doubt any white guys would date me because of my skin color. Black guys/girls think i'm an 'oreo' (black on the outside white on the inside) and I don't know if any white guys are physically attracted to me. I have white guy friends but thats about as far as its ever gotten. In fact I've never had a boyfriend in my life, haha. Maybe its because I'm young (15 is NOT young)? My friends tease me for being a prude and i just go along with it, but its all starting to build up and drive me nuts! What can I do? Would a white guy ever date a black girl like me? I'd feel pretty crappy for going through my highschool years without a single boyfriend. But as desperate as this sounds, it's true. Please be honest, I need confidence.

My boyfriend and I will be together a year in Febuary and we are committed to each other. We talk all the time of getting married after college and having a family. My family and I moved to Monterrey, Mexico. We were supposed to work with my uncle and his family in a school that teaches English in Monterrey. He promised us 25% of the money the school got, he pays us $100 dollars a week. Just enough for groceries and toilet paper. I got Kicked out of school here because a bunch of people kept challanging me to fights because i was the Guy from the States. If i showed weakness, they would have bullied me, so i stood my ground. There was a fight that 50 people went too and i got kicked out.Its been a year since i have really talked to anybody i feel so lonely i sound like a wuss right now i just feel so lonely. Even though people have called me Handsome, i seem to be shy of pretty girls and once at a mall a pretty girl tryed to talk to me and ignored her and she thought i was a jerk and gave up. my family doesnt have money, i dont have any friends down here, i just spend my days walking and excersizing in Monterrey, Mexico. How can i cheer up?

my grandmothers opinions. My grandmother raised me. My grandmother hates fat people with everything in her. Everytime she sees a fat person in public she just looks at the floor and shakes her head. My sister has put on quite a few pounds lately. Well when my sister asked my grandma how to get her husband to mow the lawn, my grandmother said "why can't your fat *** mow the lawn??" and she cried about it and then my grandma told her to quit being a baby. an example or two of her flirting: I was on the phone with her and she heard my boyfrind say Do you still love me a little? She said to tell him That she loved him a little and I loved him alot. I just ignored her and she said again firmly tell him! I did not say a word. She asks about him alot and calls him occassionally. When she and her boyfriend recently went away for the weekend she asked if my boy friend could take care of her cat, not me! I said I will and she pressed me two more times casually if my boyfriend could do it. I ignored her and took care of her cat! Ugh! I myself have always been a girly girl
I used to have an easy time making friends and being social ..but just starting my 11th grade year i started to get sick of the caddy brats in my school and just avoided them. Instead of dishing about our weekends getting drunk and making out with boys i just dident feel like listening to it.

I just turn on my headphones. It just all seems so fake to me. And now i analyze things to the nth degree. My daughter had a friend spend the night a few days ago (they are both home schooled) and in the morning when she was making some eggs for everyone I noticed that she had her hair cut. I found out that her friend had cut off about 3 inches of her hair the night before. She did not have my permission to do this, so I took her into her bedroom and spanked her with the belt. Later that night when I came home from work I took the door of her room off the hinges so she wouldn't be able to do things behind my back like that. Plus, I know she liked to close her door sometimes so I think this will be an effective punishment. Now, she came into my room tonight all sweet and everything and asked me if I would please put her door back on and that she was sorry for cutting her hair. I told her not tonight but I might later on. Should I put her door back on and if so, how long should I wait? I really want he to know that cutting her hair without my permission is wrong.
