Okay, so my brother and I don't talk. I have recently tried to reach out to him to no avail, however he has a son who will be 6 in February that I want to get a Christmas gift for. Is it inappropriate to buy him a bike and helmet? I don't want my brother to be offended by the gesture.

FRI: me and AP went out for about 2 hours after work
he was really sweet

SAT: AP call/txt telling me he misses me and is thinking about me.
said that whenever he is with me he doesn't want to let me go

SUN: AP went out with colleagues to a party and got totally drunk
called me telling me he really likes me and thinks about me all the time

MON: AP didn't call/txt
apparently he was hung over all day and forgot where he left his phone
had quite a long phone call

TUES: AP spent an hour with me during break.
gave me spontaneous hugs and kisses
afterwards he left with friends, after promising to spend the whole evening with me
(bcoz i walkd off due to his "bros b4 hoes" joke)
ignored me til 10pm
had an hour convo at 10
he tried calling me at 2am but i was sleeping

WED: AP ignores all text/calls ~ i stop trying.
AP goes party
txts me at 2am to ask what i am upto and that he is drunk

THU: i ignore the 2am txt
no contact yet

2MORO: will see AP at work...argh!

I really need to contact a female friend of mine to talk about possible plans this weekend (i.e. a "date") and to ask her about a college assignment she might have missed had she not come to class the other day. know this is wrong but I still love her. They've set me up with good looking friends of hers but I can't get into anyone else. Last night they had me for dinner with a friend of hers and before we left we were doing dishes and I told her how I felt. She told me she didn't think we should speak to each other anymore and she was sorry. I don't know what to do. I have to see him at work on Monday, but what's worse is how am I going to get over this woman?

Up until last week my son's father and I were working on a relationship even though he admitted to sleeping with another woman. I forgave him. Him got locked up last week for something that was not correct in the system and that woman bailed him out. I can't do it because I live in another state and we had plans to visit for the holidays. When he kept telling her about me and his son, she got tired of hearing it cuz she wants him for herself. Hhe told him that we should get back together since thats all he talks about and he said he would. After that, she tells him she's pregnant and since he lost his place she moves in with him at the motel and is paying the bills. He works but his money is tied up with restituion and bills. Mind you my son is 9 and has not seen any support cuz he's been locked up most of his son's life off and on. This woman has bad feelings for me and told him she don't like me and she's tired of hearing about our son.I'm selfish cuz I don't want him around her?

If you have read my last question about the abusive relationship, I took the advice and got the police involved. I am now in another relationship, and he treats me like a queen, I dont really get to see him much, he works on the rigs, so he works one week and off the other, I have known him for years now, and he just seems so perfect for me, Everyone says we are the couple that we are going to take it to marrige, I want to he is just so perfect, but i dont want to get into a relationship and get to attached. What should i do??? Go for the LONG HALL, or Just see how things are doing?

My fiancee's mom wants to talk to me about why i love her son, i do love her son. She over heard one of are little fights we were having when he was at his house (We both still live with are parents) we have had some pretty mean fight. He hung up with me and then she was asking him if i really loved him or not (that is what he told me)! She was asking because they think it is weird i do not show emotion torward jon when i am at his parents house (like kiss him and cuddle)! I don't cause it is kind of weird cause i feel his mom is always keeping a close eye on me! His mom likes me and everything, she is kind of nosey! So she is planning on having a talk with me the next time i am at there house, and i am really scared to talk to her, because i have no idea what the questions could be! She was telling jon i am only going to talk to her to try to save your guys relationship! What is every elses opion on this?!! Thanks!

Ihave a friend that is a boy, but nothing more than a friend. I like him more than that. I have a few problems.
1. I dont know how to ask him.
2. My friends hate him and think hes stupid.(these are like my best frinds and dont want to loose them over a guy.)
3.I dont know if he likes me.
4. it change our friend ship for ever.
5. I never have had a bf before so it would be a big deal.

i am married to a millitary guy that is now in irag, but i`ve been with him for two years but we just got marrid a few weeks ago and we have a 1 year old son i was working but now i lost my job and i can`t apply to get help from anywere because they say my husbend gets enough money to support me but he doesn`t send me any money that is why i was asking if they someway send you money or if it had to be your husbend but know that i know he is the one that can decide i now i won`t get any i would care about the money if i was working but here were i live they aren`t many jobs like up north.

after dating for a while & realizing he would never committ cause all he wanted was casual sex (which he never got) i decided to just be friends - he would call every few weeks & we would chat casually - i never contacted him, which was my #1 rule, but now he started calling more & showed up where i was over the weekend & now he's saying stuff to me like, "you're gorgeous", "i love seeing you", "i miss you" & "you would be so easy fall in love with". now i find myself sitting here thinking about him, but doubt he's sincere - somebody talk some sense into me & remind me how it's all a game to him - my girlfriends are sick of hearing about it.

My girlfriend and me broke up over a week ago and I miss her like crazy. She does this every once in a while when she gets tired of the relationship. We live 250 miles apart and she wanted me to move to be with her. Every few months she breaks up with me and tells me not to call her, don't email her, and take me off her IM. After a while, I contact her and sometimes when she's ready she talks to me again. We start out as friends then she wants me to visit and we become more then friends. I love her very much and I miss her. Should I contact her or wait and see what happens? She's very stubborn so I doubt she contacts me first. What should I do? In the past I have sent her Roses and now she won't even except those so I don't send them.
