Go to the nearest military installation and go to JAG. Your husband should be supporting you and your son, or, at the very least, providing you with housing as is yoru entitlement as a wife under the Military Law.
If you lost your job you can apply for unemployment
Most families in the military are eligible for WIC, they cvhange the policy recently and they no longer count the housing allowance as income, so you are likely to qualify for food for your baby.
If you are in financial stress, you can apply for a AER loan (Army Emergency Relief loan)through ACS in your nearest military installation. You can do it with just your military ID card. ACS (Army Community Services) can help, please contact them.
I hope this helps,
Good luck

You better get in touch with your husband and tell him to start sending you money to feed the kid and keep a roof over his son. Check with your local recruiting office and tell them what is going on. They will be able to help you.

your husband is getting the money because he is married to you and have a kid. if he wont send the money, call the military and report it, then get a divorce and file for child support. get on welfare and go back to school until you get better education for a better paying job.

You don't have a joint checking account that his pay check can be direct deposited? He can give you power of attorney. Seems to me he has issues or you both do. Does he trust you with the money?

You need to talk to your hubby ASAP. He should have put your name on his bank account before he left. My hubby is in the navy (not deployed) and before he joined we got a joint account together.
I am not sure how your hubby would be able to send you money from Iraq. Maybe you can have him call his bank to put you on his account so you have access to the money

I do not know what branch of military your husband is in, but, you need to go to his unit and talk to his officer, or whoever is in charge. They will make sure that you are getting money! Trust me!

your husband isn't the one to decide if he WANTS to send you money. If he isn't sending you any, contact the JAG office at your nearest military base, and they will take his BAQ and send it directly to you!!!! Or they can put him in confinement...either way you win, since it sounds like he's a loser anyway
