after dating for a while & realizing he would never committ cause all he wanted was casual sex (which he never got) i decided to just be friends - he would call every few weeks & we would chat casually - i never contacted him, which was my #1 rule, but now he started calling more & showed up where i was over the weekend & now he's saying stuff to me like, "you're gorgeous", "i love seeing you", "i miss you" & "you would be so easy fall in love with". now i find myself sitting here thinking about him, but doubt he's sincere - somebody talk some sense into me & remind me how it's all a game to him - my girlfriends are sick of hearing about it.

No, Republicans already believe that they are thinking sensibly, and that you are a crazy liberal, so you can't talk most of them around. They either won't listen to you because they believe that you're nuts, or they won't understand what your saying because their neo-con background hasn't equipped them to understand the concepts that you are raising. Most Republicans do not understand the flow of money. They know that if a rich man spends money some of it works its way back down to the poor man, but they don't understand that so much of the money is removed from the cycle at each stage that by the time a rich man has spent a thousand bucks worth of tax cuts only a couple of bucks trickles down to the poor man. In order to get money where it's needed you must inject it much further down the chain.

Need more deets. WHY do you think it is all a game to him? He was honest with you before about not wanting a relationship and just wanting casual sex right? You didn't give in and he's still around. That's gotta count for something. Ask him what he wants now. Ask him to commit if that's what you need and take it slow. See what he says.
Of course, it could be a game too but find out for sure before shutting him down. He might've just needed the reality check. I do have to say you should trust your gut though. WOMEN JUST KNOW!

Men always want what they can't have. He's warm and fuzzy now, but if you go back to him, things will be the same or worse.
Next time he calls, casually mention the New Dude in your life, like get off the phone with him to talk to your new friend.
See what that does to him.

Poor thing. I've been there, I feel your pain. You've got step 1 down perfectly, no contact. To seal the deal, focus only on times he's let you down, embarassed you, denied you, or basically hurt your feelings in any way. There should be enough there to keep you focused.

You already know the answer to this. MOVE ON with your life, don't allow anyone to use you or set you up to be used. You are worth more than that, live life and enjoy yourself. Focus on the more important things in life and allow someone to come into your life that fits you like a glove.

Life is full of chances wheather good or bad. It is your choice to fall or ignore. Just make a choice. If you love him there is nothing worse than not being with him but if you'r just doing it cause u don't want to be allone or just want to cjk things out, don't get ur feelings involved untill you'r sure he is sincere.

don't let yourself fall cause probably you are in this state of mind were you only want to hear the positive things but not the negative things, and probably you will end up regretting it later, and there will always be other men around that will want you for who you are not how you are looking.

He could be sincere, and he probably deserves another chance, and I am sure you would know if it still were a game. Go for it , but do not let your guard down, and, if it still is a game to him, you will not have any regrets!!
