I am of marriagable age, but I do not feel anything for the institution of marriage nor any type of commited/non-commited relationships or any intimacy with the opposite or same sex. But I do appreciate a good laugh and enjoy people's company very much. I have so many interests that satisfy, I don't think a relationship satisfies. It is honestly (sigh**) a WASTE OF TIME. I'm not getting married, so what's the hurry? I am not ugly or of bad character or personality, just odd for my rather (let me not brag) genes.

Sometimes, I look all around and I see all struggle in this rat race to hook up and get married... But I feel apathy with that and feel it will BIND me up! I dislike the thought of it all. No pleasure is greater than music or the arts. I love to spend my time learning or not wasting any time on frivolous or inane conversation with some dude. Am I just completely ODD or are there people like me out there? I am a bit odd according to Erikson... I should be hookin up

I just went out with this guy that I've known for a bit today. He's really hot. I'm 25 and he's 28. Unfortunately, he said he thinks I shouldn't wear sexy clothes. I really don't want to stop wearing what I want to wear, because this is my style, but if I don't he does not want to go out anymore. Any thoughts?

this guy in my class always ask me if i likethis one guy in my class when everyones talking but people can still hear our conversation..sometimes my crush is even right there and i dont know what to say, because i dont wanna lie , especially if my crush is right there and i say no...sometimes the guy is like "would u ever go out with adam(his name) and i dont know what to sayy! i dont wanna tell him the truth because hes pretty untrustworthy, and i dont want the secret to get out, but the only thing im really worried about is what to say to him when he asks me in class, when he or his friends or my friends who know about me liking him, are nearby..

no one knows except my friends none of his friends..

i'm head over heels for this gy named david....but i have no clue what he thinks about me. normally he'll steal my stuff, poke my side, tease me, talk (but no longer than 5 minuets) and some of my friends say they see him stare at me. but he's popular and flirts with many girls. i can't even control my feelings for him anymore. he's totally perfect but what if he doesn't like me.....or even worse, what if he has a gf??!!?!?!?!?!? i don't know what i'd do if he was taken! please, i need advice.

i really need some outside advice. my nephew is 15 and has lived with my mom since he was 3. his mother just up and left him and my brother at that age. my mom thought my brother couldnt take good enough care of him so she insisted he live with her. since that time, my brother has little by little acted like less and less of a father to him. he has never spent any quality time with him, actually very little time at all. my nephew has never bonded with his dad, or my mother. he and i, however are pretty close. over the past 2 or 3 years, he, (my nephew) and my mom have steadily gotten along worse and now it is to the point that she tells him she wishes he would move out with his dad, or me. to be honest my mom is not a very loving person and in my heart i feel my nephew is truly suffering there. he has never felt like he belonged. the problem, is, financially we cant offer him more than our home. my brother doesnt provide for him, and if i try to make him, its gonna be hell

So this boy, was my best friend. I still think he is. Problem? i asked him out- dumb idea now we both liked each other but then nothing changed when we went out so then i thought i didnt like him, so i was thinking about dumping him. Then, i finally did. He went haywire and said all of these things so i got mad back. way back when, he promised he'd never hurt me or start talkign to me no matter what and i believed him but he lied. So he went to the movies with this girl "to cheer him up" and I found out that i actually really do like him. I've been miserable all day and last night, crying and everything. I'm numb. I'm a thin, athletic girl, I wouldn't say I'm drop dead gorgeous, but I'm pretty sure I don't make people cry when they look at me...I'd say I'm a happy middle somewhere in there. I'm kinda short for my age (and will be forever since I've stopped growing...lol), I've 5ft tall and I'm 17. However, I'm outgoing and I'm not a demanding girl, I'm not prissy, and I'm just pretty chill all around. The thing is...I've never had a bf and would kinda like one. Anytime I've tried to get close to a guy I've kinda messed things up (I get kinda clingy a little fast, i really don't mean too, and I realize I'm doing it...it's just when I care about someone, as a girl, I want them to know how I feel, and I know guys aren't so much like that...at all). I don't want to be this way, but I don't know how to be any other way. So basically...what do guys like in girls (in general)...and what turns them off (cuz I think that clingyness has got to, I mean I don't even like the fact that I do it...lol)?

I met this amazing guy that i had a strong connection with, and he agreed...we went on a couple of dates, and i never have sex until at least after three dates, thats my rule so that i can weed out the bad ones and not fall into the sex only category....i have a third date with him, after spending GREAT time together, he always called me throughout the day, texted me, wrote me nice emails..and then we slept together two nights ago....havent heard anything...i had one email...i texted him a goodnight message and i got nothing....he canceled a date that we were supposed to have the night after...so what is the deal? why the hell does the mans behavior change so much after? why do you not put in the effort to wow or impress once youve gotten laid? please be honest, is this a fear after sex thing or is it something else?

Hubby is at the hospital with his bro. and their mother is in serious condition.Alzimers and waiting to see what they are going to do with her. She had a CT scan and may transport her to another hospital.Being 87 I have seen her go down to the point that she doesnt know me or hubby. It's heart wrenching to see her this way as in I feel helpless . What can I do? She may to be put in a home and that will just make her days become shorter. Every part of my plan is going swimmingly and every manipulative brain cell I have is working extra hard at this but I've only just realized I don't know what kind of people are gonna turn up. What kind of people attend such meetings, have you? And why? Sureley there not going to put me in the same room as some guy who raped someone or anything like that are they?
