1. Either break-up before Christmas or
2. Tell the person you have a Christmas gift rule for dating and if it's under 6 months you don't buy a gift.
Too much too soon is not good. Don't start off buying gifts for new relationship.

only one month...don't spend a lot, and don't get too sentimental. Ultimately I would just get him something that you can do together so you can get to know each other better. Like I would get him a day pass for both of us to go snowboarding or to a NBA game. If he likes running, he likes sports, so that would be a good start. Good luck, but don't overspend, if will make you look too serious..plus if it doesn't last...you'll have saved some money. Happy holidays!

Well, it really depends on your budget. If you are looking to spend less than $30, I suggest maybe cd's or dvd's. These aren't too personal. If you want to spend around $50, I suggest cologne, you can get a nice set from Macy's for around $55 and it'll have cologne and deodorant. You can also get him a new wallet (You can get a name brand one for cheap at a Marshall's TJMaxx or Burlington Coat Factory) and put a picture of you two, some scratch tickets and maybe movie passes in it. If you want to get mushy, you can also write little notes and stick them in the wallet.

Go to your local running store and get him some running socks, bodyglide (prevents chafing), maybe some GU, a flashing light in case he runs at night, etc. There are a lot of running accessories he probably could use. If you have enough money, look into getting him that GPS device that calculates his speed, distance, etc.

well 1 month really isnt that long at all, but depending on his living situation..etc, do you think he would like a dog? (a real one of course)..or maybe if he likes art, get him a cool picture of a dog/ dogs? but since he loves running you said, maybe just go ahead and get him either running shoes, or maybe some great outfit for him to wear while he runs? like shorts, a shirt..etc.
