Because this is also the little sister of my best friend of 20 years. She is like 24 and has this hang up about me. I mean to me it seems as if she is scared to get into a relationship because of the way her last relationship ended which was very ugly. I finally realized just recently that she is the one I think I want to grow old with in life. The person I see standing beside me the rest of my life. Please Help...

I have wanted a cell phone for a long time.I've wanted one ever since 8th grade and I am currently in my sophomore year at high school.My parents still don't want to get me a phone, afraid it will affect my grades(my grades are always above 3.1.I have made it a priority to keep them above that).So this year it was the only thing I've asked for. My mom said I could have one,but my dad is a stubborn man.I swear I won't get one till I'm practically married!He doesn't agree to it because I shouldn't be focusing on a phone and I should focus on school.My mom went and ordered a phone on his account,but with her credit card.Verizon won't give in because she doesn't hold an account with them.Now I can't get the phone and my mom is mad at me because I can't over it.It sounds very ignorant of me?So......how do I persuade my dad?Its the only way I'll be able to get a phone...

Lately from reading some of the posts in Singles and Dating, I've come to think that in general, men have been ruined for sex by pornography and given unrealistic expectations, while women have been ruined for sex by articles in Cosmopolitan and so on and given even MORE unrealistic expectations. I mean, some of the things that women seem to expect from their partners are barely physically possible! Then they write and wonder what went wrong ...

I am a bit shy but funny and very nice to others. Why don't I have any friends? I am a bit fat but not unattractive otherwise. I meet people but never seem to get to know others well and become friends. I want to give my baby up for adoption, but the father won't let me.

My cousin,goes to the same school as me and were in teh same grade.We are in differnt worlds,we ahng with differnt crowds.Recently ive been told from people who talk to him and me as well which is quite rare seeing as were nothing a like.That him and another one of his friend have a bet going to see who can get into another girls pants. k..so this gurl broke up with her BF 3 months ago (went out for a yr) cuz he cheated on her. so she randomly started talkin to me like 3 weeks ago. We talked like everynight n started hanging out at skool. I asked her out 2 fridays ago and she said yes. Later that night i got an email from her ex saying that he still loves her n im the obstacle in his way n he hopes i fail (n he just had to add in the GL and dont screw up with her!) lol...she told me that hes an asshole. Now today at skool (week n half later) she told me that she still has feelings for him but she likes me. She said she cant trust him,etc but everyone is telling her to go back to him. So she might be a little confused. So she told me that its up to me and i have to decide cuz she said it isnt fair for me to be in this situation. How can you tell if he is into you, just a flirt, or sweet like that to everyone? I met this guy who always tells me how pretty I look and that he loves me (not in a super serious way, I just met the guy!) But one day he sat in my lap and I asked him jokingly "what would you like for Christmas little boy?" and he said "you."
