If she likes him and thinks he likes her, I say get him alone and ask him out. Sometimes we miss out on things waiting. He may be shy or not too sure if she likes him too. If she likes some of the things that he likes, maybe ask him out to an event he likes or a movie he likes. There is nothing wrong with that, that way they wont both keep wondering about each other and it will just be the two of them and hopefully they can decide then if they are to just be friends or date. There is always the chance that someone else may like him and ask him out before her and she won't get the chance to find out if they could have made it as a couple. It may seem weird for her but she won't have missed an opportunity if there is one.
Hope this helps.

The fact you are asking this shows you are aware there is a problem. Never underestimate your intuition. If they have
known each other over several months, by all means yes.
Everyone is afraid of rejection, ridicule or loss, but dragging
out a relationship that you want to take to the next level and
don't, is lost time. My son just went through 3-4 yrs with a
girl and she suddenly said, "I want to date other men." Maybe
he didn't want to go to that level of commitment? Probably.
I love him, but know he has that problem and a good reason
behind it. His first love cheated on him. Trust is a crucial key
in any relationship. It's only by open communication that it is
gained. It's really your friend's decision, however. I say if you
want something bad enough, you have to take that leap of faith.

Don't wait and don't bring it up. Go on with life and if he ever grows the nuts to ask and she is still interested then do it. Don't settle for indecisive men.

Your friend doesn't have to wait for him to make the first move. If she is interested - she should speak with him. Otherwise if they are both shy, nothing will eventuate and they will both lose out. Tell her to take a chance. That's what life's all about. Good luck to her!

If he cant have the courage to ask her out, he deserves to finish last. It really comes down to, does he love her enough to take courage? Or are the emotional vices more important than her. He has to decide which is more important. Men need to know that women are more powerful and have more power to choose than men do.

If she really wants to go out with him, then she should ask him. She should also be prepared to pay for whatever date she asks him on. Alternatively, she could ask him for just friendly activities and see if that gives him enough of an idea to ask her.

She should bring it up to him cuz if she doesn't then it might never happen. The guy might be too shy to approach her and believe me cuz same thing happened with me.
