What should I buy for a 56 year old man, whom I just knew a year ago, for Xmas? He is my uncle by marriage. He likes wood work, very particular about his car, loves to read wood work magazines and also interior design magazine. Loves California. Likes Frank Sinatra (but my aunt said she bought a cd for him already). I have no idea.

I am a male living w/a compulsive lying male. We are both undergraduate juniors in college. He seemed like a pretty cool guy at first, but after living w/him for 1 week, I began to see he is the biggest/worst liar I've ever met. He fabricates lies that are so ridiculous, it makes it uncomfortable living w/him. I feel sorry for him, but even when I call him out on his lies, he just makes up more lies. Here is a list of the lies I can remember to give u a better picture:
-He is in Senior status (in school) and will graduate this year. He then tells me he has to take the max # of units each quarter & summerschool to graduate this year which shows he is in junior status.
- He use to steal DVD's from Netflix buy telling them the mail lost it, and Netflix sued him for it. I asked if he had to pay anything or go to court and he said no.
- He said he will be making $2K a month at an internship. I ask what is salary is, and he says, "I don't know, I didn't ask."

so I really get along with my friend's boyfriend a lot. I think he trustes me more than he trustes my friend. We always have good conversations, and I help him with his problems.

so now she's really mad at me.

I'm starting to like this guy that is about a year or a year and a half at the most younger than me (I'm 16) and I feel a little dirty, in the bad way, for it. I kind of feel like if I hit on him or anything that I'd be robbing the cradle, even if the age gap isn't that big at all.

I dunno. We seem to have the same tastes in TV and music and all that crap. I've been really thinking about this for a while and think I might try to talk to him a little tomorrow and try to be really subtle about me liking him. Maybe just see if we could be friends, see if it goes anywhere after that.

Anyone have any comments or advice?

My husband's uncle has terminal cancer, and 2 years ago he was given 6 months to live. He's beaten life to a pulp, but today he has gone into the hospital for the last time. He lives in Texas (we live in Kansas), and my mother-in-law has flown out to spend time with him. No one knows if he will actually make it out of the hospital or if he's going to die tomorrow.

Obviously we have to prepare for a funeral. It's strange how you can spend a lifetime preparing but it's still not enough.

The main issue:The only place we could stay in Texas would be with the family of my husband's uncle; from my standpoint that seems intrusive to demand that the grieving family house us as well. There is no place for our son to sleep (14 months), and we don't have the funds to stay in a hotel.

I've discussed this with my husband and while we have time, we're stuck. We just don't know what to do.

Any opinions?

this guy at my work told me to meet him after work but I decided not to because I think he is involved with somebody.. OK, so im in the 6th grade and 2 of my friends are in cheerleading like me for my school, so we have to go to daycare after the buses leave and we forgot about that so we took like 5 minutes to change and we were on our way to daycare, and then one of the guys gave me a note saying tell terena[my friend] i wanna kiss her so im like k, and so it took like 2 minutes and i hooked them up, so then theres my homeroom teacher and the pincipal saying u should be in daycare, blabla u could get kidnapped and we got A WEEK OF LUNCH DETENTION! and then we went to daycare and the buses leave at 3:05 it was 3:12!!!!!!!!!!!!! i usually ge in there at 3:30 and they dont care, I HATE EM!!!!

I am a student at the University of Florida. I am 19 years old, majoring in Industrial Engineering. I have my own apartment, here in Gainesville, and my family lives in South Florida (6 hours away). I have scholarships to pay for my school, but my mom pays for my car, and 1/2 of my rent.

I recently started to feel like... I'm 19, soon I'll be 20, shouldn't I start working more hours and pay my own way? I'm an adult now, but I feel like a child. I have my own place, my own car, money in the bank, a boyfriend who stays with me all the time, and I'm pretty much "on my own". No one tells me what to do, when to go to bed, do my laundry. YET, since my mom pays my car and gives me 1/2 the money for rent, I feel like I'm still some little kid.

I'm always reading on here about 18 and 19 year olds that are getting married or having kids and being "adults", and here I am living off of my parents.

What do you guys think?

Lets assume that thier is no way of cheating on this, there is un-removeable genital implant that would automatically tell them and you lose the money, anything you bought with it, and you would have to pay it back.

So i've had my eyes on a straight girl in school for the longest time and it was only until yesterday that i got the nerve to tell her how i felt in a note. But today while waiting in the lunchline she saw me and ran away. One of her friends told me later told me that i had scared her and that i should stay away from her. I felt really bad and told my friend i wanted to apologize but she told me not to and to leave her alone. Should i listen to my friend and not apologize or follow my instincs and apologize? I don't want her running away from me all the time or the horrible feeling of scaring someone like that in me for the rest of eternity.
p.s. in the note, i told her that she was the most beautiful girl i have ever seen but that i knew she didn't roll that way so i wouldn't do anything.

I've heard that to be "legally separated", all you have to do is move out of the marital household and write the date down. I've also heard that if you change your address after doing so, you are considered as being legally separated. My friend "Cass" wants to 'file' for separation--is there such a thing, or do you just leave the person?

I apologise if im ignorate in this matter.

1: My cell got passed around my theatre group for a couple of hours and when I finally got it back I had about 10 new numbers in it. They r all from girls but some have bf already and some are 2 old 4 me.

2: there was this huge group of ppl sitting in 1 place and some1 or someppl kept licking me on the face (cheek). Im really not sure what to make of that.

3: There is this one girl and before r Qs to go on stage she keeps hugging me through the curtain, but she already has a bf.

4: Another of the girls is getting annoyed by one of the guys there i told him to cut it out and he did. But whenever she is near me and the guy is near she hugs my from behing and seems to use me as a shield. She hugs tightly and presses against my back in the chest area. Accident or on purpose?

help in any on these questions would be extremely helpful. some I have no clue others im just looking for conformation.

Is it in his behavior? Does he linger around and tend to be more "present" than he did before? Is he more chatty? And more importantly if it is merely BASED of physical attraction, how is a girl to know? What are the differences b etween physical attraction and real genuine attraction?
