it is really something that you feel --- but you need to be sure that you are doing it because its a progression of the relationship not just the guy wanting to have sex

its difficult to say if you would regret it or not --- i suppose it depends on the guy if he is serious about you and will stay with you.

when you are young its probably best to wait and wait so that you can get the dating experience and be able to read guys better

when you are older sex is just something that can be enjoyed by two people and both of you are interested in making a relationship work

Wait till you are in love with the person, then it will be the best.
Make sure it is with someone you trust and feel very comfortable with. To be safe, try to wait as long as you can. When you feel you can't wait anymore, then give it a try. Just make sure the guy respects you beforehand and wants you for more reasons than just sex.

I really think it is important that you are willing to accept ALL the consequences (pregnancy, HIV, AIDs, Hepatitus, Syphillus, ANYTHING), even when you have safe sex. I know that sounds silly and overdoing it, but if you consider all the social consequences- will people call you a slut, whore, easy.. what will your bf tell his friends in the locker room? Does he love you? Why did he want to have sex with you? I still think sex should be a serious choice for everyone.

you are ready when you have no doubts about it.

and like they ^ said...you have to be ready to assume ALL outcomes of it.

and when you love the person, it makes everything that much easier.

if it starts to happen and you don't want it to, then you aren't ready and just be like "hey i'm not ready." you don't need to apologize, it's your body and only you know when you are fully ready.
