What should I buy for a 56 year old man, whom I just knew a year ago, for Xmas? He is my uncle by marriage. He likes wood work, very particular about his car, loves to read wood work magazines and also interior design magazine. Loves California. Likes Frank Sinatra (but my aunt said she bought a cd for him already). I have no idea.

you can buy a mag. subscription for him... they will send him a card telling him of your gift..... or you could buy him a gift card from a hobby place or wal mart...... or you could buy him a fancy map of California or globe etc......... God bless

Do you have an antique mall where you live? Antique stores have all kinds of cool stuff. Maybe they have something crafted from wood, like a car or train or something.
He was born in 1950, so maybe you can find an item he would remember from his childhood. Men always love toys and gadgets.
