So i've had my eyes on a straight girl in school for the longest time and it was only until yesterday that i got the nerve to tell her how i felt in a note. But today while waiting in the lunchline she saw me and ran away. One of her friends told me later told me that i had scared her and that i should stay away from her. I felt really bad and told my friend i wanted to apologize but she told me not to and to leave her alone. Should i listen to my friend and not apologize or follow my instincs and apologize? I don't want her running away from me all the time or the horrible feeling of scaring someone like that in me for the rest of eternity.
p.s. in the note, i told her that she was the most beautiful girl i have ever seen but that i knew she didn't roll that way so i wouldn't do anything.

yes, go with your gut feeling;
apologise and explain you didn't mean to upset her and that you wont contact her again.

I think you SHOULD apologize. First of all, don't let other people tell you what is right FOR YOU. If your instincts say to apologize, then you should - hands down. Your first instincts are almost always right, and in this case, I dont see that it could do much damage. She's already leery of you, and maybe a sincere apology will help her feel at ease, like she doesn't have to run away when she sees you.

I would suggest giving her a little space. If you really want to apologize, maybe get a friend to tell her or send her another note. If she is running away from you, continuing to try and approach her will just make her more uncomfortable.

Approach her when she's alone (but don't stalk her!) and apologize for scaring her and making her feel uncomfortable. Tell her you understand if she doesn't feel the same and that there should be no tension because you'll leave her alone if she wants. Make sure to sound gentle and sorry.

U can apologize to her if u really want too, because ur right u don't want her to feel scared. If she accept it good if not then u will always know that u did say u were sorry and thats off ur chest.

U don't have to say ur sorry in front of others u can say it to her when u see her again.

I hope if works out

I would apologize just to be on the safe side.. It sure wont hurt anything. Just tell her your sorry and that you didnt mean to scare her and that you wont bother her..just leave it at that... good luck..

Tell her your sorry, you didn't mean to make her uncomfortable, you'll never come at her like that again and ask her if she could be your friend again. It might not work, but it's worth a shot.

I dont think you should apologize u didnt do anything wrong. She is just surprised at what you wrote and needs time to take it in.

i think that perhaps you should wait a week or so and let things cool down. then try apoligizing and if she wont accept it in person try writting her another note telling her you didn't mean to scare her.

def apologise but do it with a little more consideration than the note --- i dont wonder that you scared her --- you would have been better to say nothing because you knew she would not be interested
