or is it something else...anyone who knows my questions will know that i have an interest in human behaviour...one thing i wonder is whether when we are looking for Mr/Mrs right...are we looking for happily ever after emotionally or is it a biological/survival of the fittest instinct that we are probably unaware of that keeps us always looking for that perfect match???...i think its instinctive behaviour personally...what do you think? ...;0)

My husband and I have been together for almost a decade. He claims I'm the person he loves the most in the world. He thinks the ideal life would be us together with our cat for the rest of our days. He wants to travel the world and just enjoy each other's company. He thinks a baby would bring unnecessary stress into our lives. He has no desire to become a father whasoever. I, on the other hand, want nothing more than to have a family, with kids, not just cats. He thinks I'm selfish for wanting a baby, he says I'm only considering my needs. I think he is selfish for not wanting to give me one. I thouhgt that if a guy really loved a woman, he would want to have her baby. It's not like we're teenagers and just met each other. I love him very much, but I don't know what to do anymore. We're seeing a couple's counselor, but we can't seem to get anywhere. He thinks I'm pressuring him, and I think he's robbing me of the most meaningful experience I could have. What do I do? Help me please!!

My stepmother and I do not get along. Everything she says seems to be negative, and she always has to complain about what she is given or just her surroundings in general. Many times I have gone out of my way to do something I thought she might like and it seems like she just can't accept me for who I am. She is a spiritualist, they are usually happy people. she goes to church and teaches classes about getting what you want being happy and stressfree etc. but then lives the opposite. This is why I avoid her as to not cause arguments. I occasionally have a messy room, or forget to bring down my laundry, i might leave the bedroom door open and the cat might lay on my bed. I dont normally have time enough between school and work to do dishes or other chores around the house. though i do mine. I'm a high school student graduating with the class ahead of her this year. Im working hard and im very stressed. what should i do?

look at as a "*****" or "lesbian" or "liberal"? but when a guy is in the same place, he is shown to be a provider?
i am proud to say i am one proud liberal woman who has fought for everything i have, with no help from the man's world. i have nothing against men, i do love them, but i dont feel like most are up to my way of life and to be comfortable with someone for the hell of it, i rather deal with life alone.

Ok i recently just broke up with my girlfriend, because i found out she cheated on me when my mom sent me to a treatment facility. She always used to tell me that she would never do that, and she knows what it's like to be cheated on. So when i found out, i just busted her out on it, so she wouldn't have anytime to think. She admitted to it but said the other person did something she didn't, and after 20 more of the same question she admitted that she was apart of it to. I don't think it's so much as that she did it, i just think it is very shitty that she acts like since she got away with it for a year i shouldn't be mad. All i want is honesty, and someone not to cheat on me. Now she is mad that i am breaking up with her and harrassing me, and telling me i am making a mistake, and telling me i am stupid for being mad. She is trying to manipulate me. I feel as if i need someone though, a companion. Should i jump into another relationship now? Or should i sit and be sad and depressed?

I know society has changed a lot and single parenting is a lot more common in fact it is now completely acceptable but do you think that the children have the same type of life or if being from a single family affects you in any way. I know of a lot of people who plan a baby with their boyfriend/girlfriend but don't plan to marry also.

My Bestfriend and my boyfriend of 5 yrs married a girl of his parents' choice cos he cldn't go against his parents' wishes and marry me. The consequences wd have been outcast from his society and ultimately some yrs of heartache and pain of not being able to look after his parents. Plus his version is that he's saving me from hardship (in the long run) cos his community is 2 conservative.

Now he's married but he still wants to keep in touch with me cos he still loves me n value our friendship (we were best of friends 1st b4 he proposed me). I agreed initially to keep in touch but now tat he's married I don't think it's really possible to keep up tat friendship cos everytime i think of him sharing his life (good n bad) with another person my heart breaks. Is it healthy to keep such contact? Wld like some opinion from ppl who have experienced similar situation. BTW, he wanted to introduce me to his wife but i refused cos i know i won't be able to face such situations.

where he has been for 15 years. He breaks into a house to look for money and guns and finds a young couple in bed. He orders the guy out of bed and ties him to a chair. While tying the girl to the bed he gets on top of her, kisses her neck, then gets up and goes into the bathroom.
While he's in there, the husband tells his wife: "listen, this guy's an escaped convict, look at his clothes! He probably spent lots of time in jail and hasn't seen a woman in years. My dad had a piece of rental property. It was in bad shape the last tenants trashed it, breaking numerous windows ruining all the plumbing by cutting it, the wiring everything. We came in remodeled, and paid rent. He then decided that wasn't good enough he also wanted us to remodel at his house as well. We went there every day we had off and expected us to come out every night as well. We couldn't afford it with driving to his house 40 miles away and still get to work. He didn't care he demanded we be out there. When we went on holiday for Thanksgiving he told us we had no right to any form of personal time. We owed him. My husband wants to move NOW but we can't afford it. Barely able to afford a gallon of gas. My dad has other children too and they ask for help and he doesn't require "slave trade" from them or their spouses. Should we quietly save money up to move away as far as we can? I am greatful he's given us a place to live, but how greatful must I continue to be?

I have a 12 yo daughter that started wearing bras a month ago. She doesn't like it that much, but I thought it was time for her to get started. She resisted a bit, but no big problem, she's a very good girl and I treat her with much love. She promised me she won't disobey and will try to get used to her bras. But sometimes she tries some tricks: She doesn't disobey or make fusses, but sometimes she "forgets" to put her bra on. Then, she gets close to me so that I can see she's braless and maybe let it pass. When I tell her she's braless, she says Oh I forgot. And I make her put it on.
Another trick is resisting learning how to put her bras on. She says it's kinda hard and says I gota help her. Well, I do, but this can't go forever.
Of course, those are childish things and I don't see any big problem, but I'd like opinions on how to handle this situation.

we got married four and half years a go in iran . and i had carrer, in a midle of suden he dicided to change his carrer and move to dubai . and he told me lets start our bussiness to gather. ( i mean not financially but phically ). we started two years ago and we had a lots of progress. meanwile he is trying to tell me you useless and not come to work any more. so becuse of his behavoiurs i got sick ( stress out) . while i was sick for one month, he is not taking care of me and always telling me that do not play games. you will be fine soon. so when i relized that he is not care about me . i called my mother to come and look after me . after two weeks , he decided that for me to go back to iran to change my mood and come back. but when i came back i relized he cheated me . i confronted with him and told me wether you accepted or pack your things. and stop coming home from that time till now for 22 nights. within 22 days i tried my best to bring him back but he is refeusing?

I had a relationship with a guy who seemed to be the nicest man on Earth; he was sweet, gentle, understanding, clever, loving, handsome and wellmannered; he always knew I'm not religious and he never seemed 2have a problem with that.
