have u guys noticed in any of the watch or clock Ad"s on tv the time usually in them is 10:10. why and what is the significance behind it

First of all I must congratulate you on your keen observation.

This practice actually dates back from the era much before the advent of digital clocks, when the clocks had three hands -- for hour, minute and second. If you have also noticed, the advertisements of such clocks showed 10:10:30 mostly. This was because in this manner, the clock hands made 120 degree angles and perfectly divided the clock dial into three equal parts.

Nothing auspicious or special about it, just that this looked neat and appealing to the eyes.

Hey that's interesting., I will watch for that from now on.

I know that there is a TV station in my area that uses 10 at 10
for their news program ads.

All the news in the first 10 minutes of the 10 PM News Cast.

It's a "V".....I'll start paying more attention to that. I never noticed that, but I do always look and see what time it is.
