look at as a "*****" or "lesbian" or "liberal"? but when a guy is in the same place, he is shown to be a provider?
i am proud to say i am one proud liberal woman who has fought for everything i have, with no help from the man's world. i have nothing against men, i do love them, but i dont feel like most are up to my way of life and to be comfortable with someone for the hell of it, i rather deal with life alone.

Well, today women are more empowered to move forward with their lives. I am a single woman and mother, who has empowered myself to move forward, to make a difference in this world, in Child Protection. I have already experienced some issues with professional men, in that of my strong views and honest words for the wellbeing of our children. It doesn't bother me.
Women for a long time, were looked upon as housewives, but we are a different society now. As women, we can chose more things to do with our lives. Men will just have to get over it, women are doing awesome things in the world today.
Women in some countries are slaves, and treated with high levels of abuses. This is a crime!
Views of empowered women today, have come a long ways, but there is much work to be done. I believe that some men will always be threatened by women.

Hi Liberal woman, Spoken like a true sister! I appreciate that, let's not forget we are living in a man's world. That being said, I believe the power to be respected where we are- for who we are is all up to us. So if you respect yourself sister-girl, to hell with what others think. It usually is a sure sign they are intimidated by your confidence and success, comments like "those". I've been classified as the ***** , "lesbian and "liberal". Hey, you think that bothers me? Hell no, De Layna B. knows who and what she is. That 'bout it' sister who keeps it real and holds it down dig?

I'd say you're a real woman...exactly the kind of lady I like to date! Nothing nicer than getting together with a person on equal footing; when the date is over or you get tired of them being under foot, they can go home to their, or you to your own place. And then you can start all over again whenever you both feel to! Another nice thing is, things aren't always happening in one house; there's always a variety of places to perform activites when you don't rely on one person to provide the crash pad...

Nothing wrong with you, sister! I also own my own house, support myself, etc. It would never occur to me to lean on a guy financially, but I have had men who thought I'd like to be their little sugar-momma. I don't think so. Hold out for your equal, someone who pays their own way and has a modest degree of success in the world and pays their own debts and maybe saves some for a rainy day. Too many people look to a partner to "rescue" them. Let's all insist on adults, shall we?

Rock on with your bad self.

When a straight guy works hard, owns his own place, cars, ect and does not have a wife or girlfriend. He is looked at as a total loser.

Don't feel so singled out, in this case there is not a double standard.

OK...then what is your problem? Who cares what other people think. Everyone is liberal to some degree.
BTW get over yourself already there has not been a man's world for quite some time. Equality is the policy the country has adopted and with equal rights comes equal responsibility.

As a woman myself, I am so proud of you. There are so many HATERS in this world. And their job is to HATE. While they hate on you and your success, you keep moving right along in life. Fulfilling all of your goals one by one. Good for you, don't settle for anyone that is not up to your standards (unless they are too high). I am in my second and last marriage. Don't get me wrong, I love being married, but I also know the feeling of accomplishing things in life by myself. There are plenty of times that I wish I was by myself.....Keep it moving......Best wishes.

My kind of woman and i am no lesbo. There is nothing wrong with the way you feel and there is a double standard placed on women and men. Keep doing it for yourself and when that strong counter part comes alone you will be accepting of it.
