check out www.orientaltrading.com they have a lot of masks and such (like for Mardi Gras)at a VERY low cost or look into the cost of making everything your self.

the other thing...when you are planning such a big event....buy stuff here and there...make a list of what you need and as you buy it mark it off....before you know it you will have everything you need and it won't dig into your budget as quickly or badly

It depends how all out you want do go.... you can really save by making your own centerpieces of the masquraide masks with the feathers, so when everyone walks in the room looks beautiful with those centerpices, but then your guest could also use them throughout the night, so your provding the masks.... this is like a two in one idea that will definetly save you money. Also think colors as long as you keep deep dark bold colors as the theme your ball will get pulled off nicely, its usually all about the masks. GL

Just try to keep in mind of your budget. A great site to figure your budget is www.theknot.com. I think the cheapest thing to do is make everything your self, decorations and food. And remember that your entertainment is key.

shop early, and shop around for the best deals.. maybe visit a halloween store, bc this is the time to get masquerade decorations for a great price.
