my friend wants to start usin tampons but is scared and doesnt know how, and i dont know wt to tell her, i cant explain things? help

First off, I want to say that I love my mother-in-law. Anyway, It is my daughter's 4th birthday this coming Sunday and my mother-in-law decided to plan a babyshower for my sister in law for the same weekend we had planned our daughters birthday. I thought this was very rude as the baby isn't due until late February. Couldn't they have had this shower after Christmas, since they have the time still? I bit the bullet and decided to have her party on a Sunday at noon. Now my mother-in-law has planned on being in a parade that day and time. I told my husband that I thought this was just to spite me for telling her how I felt about the babyshower. He told me to proceed as planned and let his mother know that it was her business to decide which event she would like to attend, but that we would not change the time, date or place of our daughters birthday to accomadate her, as it is our daughter's birthday.
Am I out of line for feeling this way, or proceeding without her?

Hey, I have a little issue I'm not sure how to deal with. A friend of mine has introduced me to one of her friends, I realize that girls do love to go on and on with the phone. Problem is, I'm a guy. I get on the phone, get the point across, and hang up. Normally, that is. I haven't been in a relationship for about a year, and I realize that I'm going to have to get used to those all-night phone conversations again. I find it difficult to find things to talk about endlessly, and it gets uncomfortable to me. So my question is, what in the world does SHE want to talk about? Help me out ladies........

My partner (father of our two beautifull daughters/3&5) started his own business last Feb. Since then, his attitude/patience/interest in me and the girls has deminished (he is angry, verbally aggresive towards me, critisises me constantly, shouts at the girls for really no reason (kids 'r' kids), complains if I haven't done the housework........... the list goes on/it's like living in a mine field. When he comes home I feel sick - I'm waiting for the abuse!. He won't come on holiday with us, he has decided to work over the Christmas period......... which means the girls and I will be away on our own. He won't /hasn't spent one day/half a day with us since he started his business......... Yet, he will take Sunday's off, go down the pub for twelve hours and then spend Monday's in bed recovering (he doesn't take bookings Sun/Mon). I so much want to get-up and leave but don't because my girls adore him... I also work p.time. I'm on the edge and would welcome your thoughts.. ta

please help, me and this girl from alaska met in a hotel from one of her friends, we fell in love instantly, but i knew she had a boyfriend/fiancee the whole time, we had sex and had lots of fun during the summer of 06', i deployed to iraq and she went to live with him in the lower states and im going on leave soon and she is going back up to alaska to visit her firends/family, i am trying to decide weather to go to germany alone and spend christmas alone up there, but probably have a good time...or go back to alaska and hang out with her and have sex with her?? would it only make things worse for us, cause she still says she wants me and likes me a lot...so the question is...go back to alaska with someone that is using me as a rebound and she doesnt know who to choose me or him/or go to germany by myself and meet girls up there and go clubbing?? please help !!

I work form home, and my fiance works graveyards. my cousin calls me at all hours wanting me to feel bad for her because her baby daddy is using drugs and taking all their money. She has a 5 yr old and a baby on the way. The thing is I dont feel sorry for her. She chose to stay with him even after he spent her rent money. she tries to make me feel bad because we have a house and a nice life, and my man spoils me when he can. All i get is it must be nice to ...(fill in the blank). We use to help her out when he was in jail, but we started hurting so I cut her off. I dont say how i feel because i dont want her to blame me if she loses her baby, yes she would do that. what can i do if i dont pick up my phone she calls my man, and while he is at work, or the rest of our family and we are all sick of the world owes me attitude. I cant cut her out completely because i am her child's godmother. what can i do, and pls no stupid dont pick up your phone. I am losing my mind

He (he is a Peruvian native by the way, and not a resident of the US) married his second wife (she is also peruvian) in Peru two months before the judge finalized our (I'm American) divorce here in the U.S.

He is now seeking a divorce from her, however, and is curious if he can invalidate the marriage by stating he wasn't divorced before he married her. If he does this, will he be charged with Bigamy?

Would it be better just do go through the divorce procedure in Peru and not say anything about the other divorce not being final (he's the only one that knows, she doesn't)?

Hi all,
My girlfriend comes out to visit me on the weekends. Well last week while heading out my girlfriend forgot her cellphone. While entering my room to retrieve the phone she saw "lev" my roomie helping himself to her panties in the bathroom. I personally am revolted by his behavior. She wants me to call the cops on him. I dont think its that big a deal. Isnt this type of behavior normal for guys, sniffing panties. In college it was quite the pasttime. What should I do.

What would you do?
When two people can look @ each other and melt and know just what the other needs to make them feel a warmth inside that noone can replace but, if trust was broken in the beginning over lying about calling a girl on a regular basis no dating or sex involved (admitted by both) and over the next 7 yrs the two of you marry have a child and TRY to get past it but no matter what something happens to bring you right back to the trust issue if it's him running late, a hang up call or you not being able to reach him do you think we are wasting precious years by holding on? we even divorced 2 yrs ago but we still want let go.

okay, so, my friend recently got layers put in her hair and died it red. now she's a sexy lil firecracker. (god i love my word choice) when i first met her she wanted to die, her self esteem was low and she was ugly (sorry, i'm ticked off). I'm 23 as is my BF. We've been together for 2 yrs & plan on getting married. I'm still in school working towards my Masters, but my bf has begun his career. This is his 1st year in his field so I only get to see him when he comes home @ 10 p.m from the office until we fall asleep in our apartment @ 11 p.m. It's rough. I love him SO much. The best BF I've ever had. Lately it seems all we do is talk about his work. I understand we are talking about his day but it gets old to me. We spend weekends getting caught up on work. Saturdays are spent sleeping and watching TV. Which to me is a little boring. I like to get out more! But he's just so tired he never has the motivation. We fight a lot more now because I think we miss having the quality time we had before his career began. Sundays are even worse because we have to do laundry and other chores. He says work will get easier after the 1st yr.. Sometimes it feels like we're friends more than lovers, but we still have sex. Advice please!?
