Busy Boyfriend... any advice?

I'm 23 as is my BF. We've been together for 2 yrs & plan on getting married. I'm still in school working towards my Masters, but my bf has begun his career. This is his 1st year in his field so I only get to see him when he comes home @ 10 p.m from the office until we fall asleep in our apartment @ 11 p.m. It's rough. I love him SO much. The best BF I've ever had. Lately it seems all we do is talk about his work. I understand we are talking about his day but it gets old to me. We spend weekends getting caught up on work. Saturdays are spent sleeping and watching TV. Which to me is a little boring. I like to get out more! But he's just so tired he never has the motivation. We fight a lot more now because I think we miss having the quality time we had before his career began. Sundays are even worse because we have to do laundry and other chores. He says work will get easier after the 1st yr.. Sometimes it feels like we're friends more than lovers, but we still have sex. Advice please!?

Ah you are in a tough spot there; you know I can kind of relate to you my boyfriend works everyday of the week even weekends. I feel as if his job is more important than me. We argue about it all the time and his job seems more important anyways. I get bored because hes always tired and doesnt want to do anything. Hes always seems to tell me oh "when I get a day off we can do something" he never gets a day off though.

You are going to have to set your foot down here and do things to make it interesting...

for example, make a romantic dinner for the two of you when he comes home from work when job comes up change the conversation.

if little things like that don't work then you are going to sit down with him and tell him I know your career is important but so am I and I feel bored when you jujst want to sit and watch tv you should make some time for me too, I want to go out do things with you.
