my friend wants to start usin tampons but is scared and doesnt know how, and i dont know wt to tell her, i cant explain things? help

is she a virgin? if she is this can interfere wiht her virginity if she puts it too far up there. You insert the tampon the same way you insert your fingers but the string is the one that is left hanging out tell her she needs to change it though about every 2-4 hours to keep it from overleaking

Tell her to go into the washroom, at home, make sure she buys the "small" size, and tell her to READ the Directions! One thing you can tell her to do and it makes it easier, is to stand up and put on leg on the toilet and leave the other on the floor. And if she needs to she can use a mirror first. But she should do this at home and she should be asking her own mother to help her or someone like a sister, but if she doesn't have either, read the above to her and wish her luck. Make sure you explain a little of the rest to her, OK!

she should ask her mom or maybe a friend who uses tampons. if she doesnt want to do that she can look at the back of the box for directions

just tell her that she needs to sit up or stand up and put it in at an angle and basically insert it until her fingers touch the skin. LOL just tell her not to use scented tampons as its a higher risk of TSS (toxic shock syndrome) which can be really bad.

Inside some of the tampon boxes they have all the directions and stuff written in there. Theres really nothing to be scared of.. it's just part of.. woman hood ya know? ... lol.

the instruction is located on the box, but i wouldnt blame her for being scared, tampons carry this disease call TSS which is rare but serious illness. to prevent this disease while using tampon, use the one which has less absorbancy and change tampon every 2-4 hours.
