If you think he would go out with you then flirt a bit with him and then he should ask you out but if you think he wont go out with you then just admire him from affair like the rest of the girls at your school...and probably the teachers.

Easy. You say he is popular? (Of course he is or you wouldn't like him right?). If you really wanted him badly enough, the easy way would be to try to have sex with him, but I assume you are not a slu-t and do not want a bad reputation if it backfires. But anyway, this guy can have any girl he wants, and goes for the hottest ones there are. If you are not his first choice, you still have a chance. Assuming you are at least pretty hot, you can get him by sending mixed messages and being that one girl who challenges him. People always want what they can't have. Act like you really like him one day, and then pretend the next day that you aren't really that into him and flirt with every other guy in the room but not him. Rub up against him like you want him, but never tell him you like him. Just act friendly and seductive, and then back off for a while. Girls do this type of thing subconsciously all the time with people who like THEM in order to test them as potential mates, so you should have no trouble using it on him. The key is to make him want you. If you haven't already made contact with him, you obviously need to start by doing that (simply talk to him), and then start your mind games and get him spellbound. If you are a hott girl you probably already know how to do this, but if not, it couldn't hurt. Remember though that if you are too good, you may beat him at the game, so you have to eventually give in... when you think you have him, this is when you ask him out.

Start a casual conversation. Such as Hi, how is your day going? What kind of music do you like? Whos your favourite teacher? Simple things. Always keep it simple at first. Then if its going well, ask if he would like to hang out or talk on the phone or help you with your homework something easy. Make him feel comfortable talking to you. The more comfortable he feels talking to you the easier it will be to ask him out or have him ask you out.

You should try to become friends with him... get close and see if he's really the guy you want to date. Don't freak him out.. act cool. If hes not already going out with someone then there must be a reason if hes as HOTT as your making him sound like! :-P
