iam 28 right now and i started to date this girl when i was 20 ,since then we have had a on and off relationship, like we dated for 3 years then she moved away and we seperated for 4 years and then we got back together for 3 monts,a real mess..anyway i dont want this relationship anymore but when i tell her i dont want it she constantly keeps calling my cell and my home nummber and my office.she constantly calls cursing and wishing for me to die? its a huge mess and iam stuck ,its like the more i tell her to go away the more agrassive she gets.its really freaky! even when i try rationalizing with her, telling her that we are not ment to be together she get pissed off,,its her way or no way!

Ok im 22 and yes i hate to admit it but ive been living with my father for about 8 months ...Anyways my father always expects me to do what he says and i better do it right well lately he's been acting real funny and gets real mad at me for no reason well when he does tell me to do something i do it but its either not good enough or just something not right well heres another thing i dont get whenever he is mad at somebody he expects me to be mad too and when im not he gets really mad and threathens to kick me out but then he doesnt ... i dont get it ,,,what should i do ?

Christmas card, he dont get to see his dad but knows that he send him money monthly(child Suport) he also knows that he has a sister as well, she 4 and he tell everyone about her, even though he never meet her before. he wonder whyhis( real father) does not come around to visit him, I told him that me and his step-father loves him very much, he seem O.K with this. but want a sister so bad, I not going to have any more children in the future. I gave him a pet, a toy bear and gives him lots of attention. hoping he forget all about the little girl, maybe in the near future they will meet later in life and have a relationship....What do you think my friend said call her mother and we can meet and talk and the two of them will have a bond. I said forget it! My son dad seem like he did'nt want to have anything to do with us, which is O.K. with me, but for my son I don't know, I want to make the right choices for him right now he is 7.

So my ex boyfriend who i had been with for like 9 months i want to go back out with him and i tryed to tell him that but he said i should be the one who asks him out then and i was like well i know you dont want a girlfriend thats why i wont..so then i was just going to forget about it and move on and i went to this get together at a house and he was there and then he said he was sorry and that he loved me but we still arnt going out. we usually talk everynight on the phone and latley hes not been calling everynight it may be cause hes busy with basketball. My mom pointed out that he isnt busy on weekends when he could be with me. but he doesnt try. im just so confused and hurt and dont know wether to give up or not. A big part of me believes and i guess hopes will be together again.

I am an adult and have had to move back in with my parents temporarily. They go to social outings to friend's houses. For example, they went to some friend's house for Thanksgiving. I was also invited.

I chose not to go. My mom asked me to go, but I said no. I generally feel uncomfortable because I am the only one that is alone (without a partner) and without anything positive to talk about. My child does not live with me (lives in another state with her Dad) and I have just started a new job that I do not like.

Should my parents have forced me to attend the Thanksgiving dinner with them? I felt sad being home alone. I went to bed at 8 a.m. and cried all the way home and myself to sleep.

My memories of Thanksgiving are terrible. I don't know what the right thing to do would have been.

I should have seen it coming, but didn't. We are still talking and have communicated more now than ever before. We have agreed to a dignified break-up. I love her tremendously, but she told me that she has not loved me for several years. I have 4 sons. One is living on his own and we still have three more at home. We don't want to ruin their holidays by telling them and I'm unsure what my life will be like without her. I still love her and for the past month I've been doing everything I can to show her how much I want this marriage to work. She is a very good woman, but still wants to proceed with a divorce. She wants the best for me, and of course I want the best for her. She wants to share the kids so it has as little negative affect on them as possible. Honestly, I don't want it to end, but it appears she's really made up her mind, no matter what I say or try. I knew that we had drifted apart, but I didn't realize how far we had drifted. Any advise out there?

I sometimes wonder if anyone has a perfect life. I constantly compare my life to others my age and see that they are happier and more successful than me.

In my case, my marriage did not work, child lives with my ex-husband and did not come out as I wanted and my career is not where it should be.

I see others in happy marriages with children who are well-adjusted and doing well in school and feel so bad.

What did I do to deserve such a bad life? I wonder why my life is so bad compared to others.

Do they really have a perfect life or are their troubles just less than mine and they are able to face them?

Its a difficult question.
