I think you already know the answer to that question before you asked it. It is never a good idea to go out with someone you know already abuses people. Don't make the mistake of thinking he won't abuse you as he will. He needs help. It sounds like at the least he has an anger problem. It is never okay to abuse anyone for any reason. Also, since you are aware of the abuse he is inflicting on others you should do something to help those people or help them get help.

What does him being abusive with the people he lives with have to do with him asking you out? If you see he is abusive I would not see any reason for you to want to date him!

First of all, why do you want to be friends with a person who is abusive to the people he lives with? And how could you expect to be treated if you made the mistake of dating him? Perhaps you could cool your friendship and find friends who treat people with respect.

Say no! Be polite just incase he in turn becomes a major jerk to you. But stay the heck away from him. I dont care if hes nice to you and abusive to others... if he can treat anyone that way it means its in him to do it to you too someday

Tell him no. Do you really want to go out with an abusive person?

Don't go - if he is abusive to one person, he will likely be abusive to others.

Seems you already know the answer to this question, you're just looking for other people to concur with you. I would not only NOT got out with him, but he wouldn't be my friend either.

if you know he's abusive to other people, then you need to tell him no... you don't know what may happen to you in the long run.
