Me and my bf are in a long distance relationship. We see eachother often but not often enough..when we are going to spend time together it is a big deal for us. Tomorrow night he want me to dress in sexy lingerie and do a dance. Its not really my type of thing but i want to keep him entertained. I am very shy person and i feel really funny dancing in front of him ..i feel stupid not sexy..what can i do to not feel so dumb while im doing this?

I am an only child to my parents. Right from my young age i have never done any house hold work.(I taught i can learn at the age of 23). I m 22 now. I dont know even abc in Cooking. . My dad become ill now. So Suddenly my marriage is fixed on 1 st decembr(with the person i loved). The family which i am going to enter is a sweet family but strict too. I know that my father in law and mother in law is very strict (my would be told). He is the only child to his parents like me. So we have to take care of their parents (but i dont know how). I am really scared. Can you say me how should i behave in their house to get their blessings.(my mother in law dint accept me as her daughter in law with full mind, due to my would be force she accepted me as her daughter in law) please help me

I was having personal problems with my sis a few years ago. I had no friends at that time.So my aunt saw my distress & would ask me if everything was ok.Then I started discussing with her about all my problems.She promised me that she would not tell anyone. But she has been telling her daughters about it all a long. One day they told my sis about what I discussed but they also told awhole bunch of lies with it . My sis was pretty upset with me. I was upset too so I talked to my aunt & she told me her kids wouldn't have said anything,I should trust her kids & my sis must have evestropped in our converstion.My sis lives out of state & when she came to visit I was upset about something my sis said so I called my aunt. Now my sis knows word for word what I told my aunt. My aunts is pretty upset with me because I don't discuss anything with her anymore.I am engaged to a wonderful man & she doesn't know my wedding plans or the date I got engaged. Now she is rude to my mother & mad at me.

I am only human, and I know I rushed into things. Please don't judge. I did what I did, sometimes there is no explanation for things. But here is my story. I was single and living on my own for many years, always looking for the big love, dreaming about getting married...etc. I never was unhappy though. I thought that by having a man in my life I could be even happier. So after many disaster dates, I met B. at the end of May 2006. I fell in love right away, because he is an extreme gentleman and treats me like gold. We ended up getting married in Las Vegas on July 4th. Everything was very overwhelming and at that point, my feelings started changing and I started feeling caged in. Now we are planning for a formal wedding next year. I am not excited about it at all. I tried to talk to him about my feelings of feeling overwhelmed and that we got married to fast...but he gets very upset and can't understand. I have the hots for one of the barmaids at a pub i got to. Ok, so my best friend is a girl (i'm a guy) we are 15 (mature) and have known each other for 2 years. Recently-for about the last two weeks- she has been asking for hugs alot, almost every day, and keeps saying she loves me. She had never done either of these before. But the thing is, she has just gotten a boyfriend (16), so I dont know what is up with the hugging etc. all of a sudden. I like her more than a friend and I have to tell her (I will wait till she breaks up with the guy), but I want to know, why might she be getting more touchy so much so quickly? If I am walking her home she puts her arm around me, and the other day I just made the flippant comment; hey, the cat's giving me a back rub, none of ye are that nice (to a group of friends) and she said "I'd give you a back rub". I find this behaviour odd since she has a bf. Whatever your answer, please say why, as I am trying to work it out.

my partner is taking anti deppressants.soroxat i think.she drinks every evening.ussually a bottle of wine at least.she just seems to go around in circles.she has no direction in her life and does nothing to change the situation.she is 35 i love her totally,but after nearly two years of this i have to pull away.otherwise i am afraid i wiill be askig the same question in 2008!.i have two young children from a previous marriage. i never thought i would consider marriage again but if my partner could get out of this directionless stated of mind i would marry her.she never plans anything,never tries to fight for anything.just walks away from anything that she does not want to confront.then ussually declares she is a victim of just about anything.almost like a child. Her mum sadly passed away just over a year ago.she was better before but only slightly.we have looked for councelling,none free.

i hate people that judge others because of their age!!i have friends as young as 17 and as old as 60 and it does not bother me one bit..do you believe you can have friends of different ages or have you ever been judged because of your age or do you judgee others depending on their age??x

I suspect it tempting to want to go to counseling just because it would be nice to have referee for the relationship and someone to determine who is officially right or wrong. I think that is what the majority of people who enter couseling are hoping for.

That does not mean I don't understand there are plenty of couples out there whose communication issues have been helped through counseling. But if a smart man and a smart woman already have good communication...wouldn't they be better off solving things themselves instead?
