my husbands mother is really hard to get along with. She ALWAYS thinks she is right when it come to really dumb things or anything for that matter....now about raising my kids: i have a schedual i try to keep them on it but when she comes home from her work (truck driver) she feeds my 5 month old son every 1-2 hours(and he is feed every 4 hours) and bathes him when she wants(his bath is at 8 pm every night) and does when she wants with him. I try and try to tell her to please respect me and my husbands schedual that he is on...but her excuss is that "im the grandma i can do what i want with him" im going crazy i dont know what to do I NEED HELP!!!

Soon I will have the opportunity to choose what college I want to go to for the next four years. My parents are pressuring me to stay at home while going to a community college, the thing is I have great grades and I also would not be able to major in what I have wanted to do for many years. Is this selfish? They are mad because they think I want to go away just to be with my boyfriend, but he is not even the reason why I decided to go away...he was completely surprised when I told him I was moving near him to go to a college that is near his. Is it wrong for me to want to leave? I do not even have a good relationship with my parents and I will be paying for college. Should I leave home?

i went to a soccer game one night, with people not from my school. this girl came up to me and said, "my brother thinks you're hot, and wanted me to give you his myspace. he's too much of a chicken to tell you himself." and she gave me a piece of paper with a link and walked away. i didn't even know who he was. i went back home and added him, and he's REALLY REALLY REALLY attractive. he talked to me a little at first, and commented my pictures about how "gorgeous" i am and stuff. i get that a lot, not to be vain or anything. he asked for my screen name. i am only 14 years old, and a freshman. he is a 17 year old junior. he's got a nice body (normal) and he's got the perfect job and apartment and car but the guy doesn't take me out, he doesn't wine and dine, we end up at his house watching TV and talking sh!t tells me his personal stuff, and then we end up in bed and to top it all off the SEX is bad its so bad that I end up thinking about my job and what I need to get done and wash my clothes...why in god's name do I continue to see this guy what the hell is wrong with me? have an aunt who likes to be the favorite of everybody & likes to be the center of attention. Although she is much younger than my mom she bosses my mom around & is rude to my mom. My mom is affraid of her & can't stand up for herself. I was a fool on discussing my problems I had with my sis to my aunt. She promised she won't tell anyone but told everything to her daughers. They told my sis everything about what I told my aunt along with a bunch of lies. When my brother inlaw went back home to my country to visit he found out that my aunt had called someone back home to my country & said that my mom & I are traveling country after country looking for a man to marry but her kids all have white boyfriends & have college degree. I went to europe with mom to visit a sick relative last year not to find a man. I met a wonderful white man at church & now engaged. My aunt is upset I don't discuss anything with her anymore or my wedding plans. Now she is rude to my mom & angry with me.

This question has cropped up through conversation with somebody else. . I am of the opinion that if you truly love somebody, you love them for who and what they are, and should never have a desire to change them. After all, you would then be in a position that you would have to learn to love a different them all over again. But, some people love you initially and are happy with the way you are, then somewhere down the line, they suddenly decide that they feel a need to change you. How do you all feel about this?

My boyfreind and I have been living together for almost 2 years now. We split the rent 50/50.

Usually he will write me a check for his half and I'll write the land lord the check in the full amount. We did this reversed (I wrote him a check and he wrote one to the land lord)once and he bounced the check to the land lord. We went back to the original way.

Recently he has bounced 3 months worth of checks to me. And keeps re-writing them telling me they should go through. I get mad and yell at him for not managing his money better, but I don't know what else to do.

The only solution I could think of was to open a checking account just for rent. And for us each to deposit our respective checks into it 10 days ahead of time *to give it time to clear. Then write a check to the land lord. Please help!

okay, u all will think this is just a movie, but my abusive boyfrien is back!!!!! im not telling the police because they have no proof, of him abusing me.......okay last night at about 2:45 am, me and my bf and my best friend, and her bf were at my lake house, and he shows up, i dont know how, or why, he knew we were theirbut he was knocking on the door, and my bf knows who he is because they went to college together and hated each other, anyways he answered the door, becasue my friend candice was supose to come over, and she lives about 4 miles away, and hasnt yet showed up, im very scared for her, no one can get ahold of her, any my old bf stormed in and grabed me and but his arm around my neck, and said he would kill me if i didnt go with him, this went on for like 2 hours, then he let me go. im more scared for candice then i am me, it has not bin 24 hours so they wont do anything, he also said he was coming back for me OMG i dont know what do he knows where all my friends live.
