money. you cant go far wrong cos they can get exactly what they want with the money, and it may seem of more value to them as they might think what you buy them is 'cheap' or nasty

I'm a 15 year old girl. I always ask for money from my Uncle, mainly because I can't think of anything I want at the time. So once I do know what I want I can use the money to get it =D

Options in order of preference
Option 1... Give them a cool gift. It's got to be something that they open go WOW and them run over and give you a hug... It doesn't have to be super expensive but it's got to be something that proves you know them and only you would buy... Usually this isn't the kinda of gift that you know you want for them, instead it's the thing you saw unexpectantly and had to buy for them. (Dont buy clothes...)
Option 2... Since you're asking this quiestion here you may not know them that well or are just stumped... Buy them something small and personal and slip some cash in the card or box...Trust me, they want the cash... put the present that went with it shows it's not just a cop out.
Option 3.... Cash
Option 4.... A present from their list...
Option 5... A generic gift... All of the nephews got turtle necks... Dont do it....

I have two daughters of those ages and all our relatives and friends are giving them money. They don't know what they want at that age so how on earth can we guess??!! I'd take no chances and give them the mean to coose their own present. They'll appreciate it far more. Just stipulate that the money is to spent on 'proper' things, not wasted on going out etc.

you may look at this in 2 strategies, in case you provide funds, the different individual can do w/e he/she needs with it. there is often of venture that the different individual ought to not basically like the present and return it, so funds or a recent card is a stable concept. yet on the opposing area, giving funds isnt very specific or significant. so the determination ought to be based at this variety of individual he/she is lol. desire this helped

What about a voucher for their favourite shop. Makes it look like you have made an effort rather then bunging a tenner in a card.

Get vouchers for HMV. That way they won't spend their money on the kind of pointless things you don't want them to buy - they'll be able to buy CDs, films, t-shirts, games, posters, loads of stuff.

I would say money unless they have told you what they want and what shop its from.
If your not happy giving them money then gift vouchers are equally as good as they can be used in several different stores.
I do that with my neices and nephews

PRESENTS!!! Money can be wasted on things that they shouldn't have - cigarettes, alcohol...
Oh yes everyone remembers the younger days :)
