i have liked this guy for about 3 years. we were on and off for a while. so we finally decided to just be friends. for a while, everything was fine. life was going great. i thought i was moving on and letting it all go. then i hear he is engaged. i freaked out. turns out it was all a joke, and that he really doesn't even have a girlfriend. but now i'm wondering what is with me? why did i react that way? what should i do now?

I am engaged to a man from Ghana (I am from the USA). I will be returning to Ghana next month and we are planning to marry in Ghana, late Dec/early Jan. I will be spending about two months there, then we both plan to move back here. My question is, what is the immigration process like? He does not have a visa yet, and I want to know what we have to do to get this. What is the process like and what financial requirements are there? Thank you for your help.

his behavior is very aggressive. He doesn't follow simple instructions. His mother's behavior with him (tons of rules and NO give whatsoever) has made him nervous and frustrated. He will be 5 in December. He doesn't answer questions in complete sentences. They put him in pre-K in their local elementary school, and after 3 days withdrew him - his behavior was so bad, he spent 3 days in the office. I live in OH and they live in TX. At the moment, they are not talking to me because I mentioned that they might need to get some help to get things sorted out.

Every year we trade names in our family and buy a gift under sixty dollars. This year, I drew Dad's name and have no idea what to buy him. He is 69 years old and has had a tough year. He underwent radiation for cancer and is a survivor. He is also diabetic. Due to health problems he has stopped reading and has been very inactive. So, I'm truely stumped. Gifts are unimportant to him but I know he wants to be recognized and has been the cornerstone of our family. I adore him and he continues to be my hero. He doesn't go to the movies. My parents rarely go out to dinner. His passion is vegetable gardening in the summer. He walks daily so he already has a pedometer and music to listen to. Sometimes he's just a cranky senior. :-) He's not a mushy person but he does have a big heart.. Help! Please!

My and my boyfriend of ten months just broke up a couple of months ago. I dumped him cuz my sister was crying every time she saw us together, and nothins more important then family, right? Anyway, I wasn't quite over him, but I wasn't showing anything, so they couldn't have known I was still hurting. I just heard that they are going out. I pretended to be happy for them, but really I am writhing inside. How could she do this? I kinda think it's my fault for not showing any emotion and for her not knowing she hurt me, but there is this. I talk about him all the time, so she could have guessed. I send him funny emails when I get them, and SHE IS MY SISTER. I never would have done this to her, and I know she is not me, but couldn't she see I was really hurt? I know I was somewhat insensitive when we were going out, but I did something about it. Maybe she is just trying to get me back? I don't know how to react, or what to do. Oh, yah. She is 13. He is 17.

okay...I'm 24 yrs old, was dating a guy for 2 years (he's now31 yrs old). we lived together, things got to be rocky in the relationship, and I got pregnant. when we first found out about it, he was very happy and excited....then he freaked out...didn't want anything to do with me, etc etc. and we broke up. I later found out that this was because of a rumor that I cheated on him and the baby could be someone else's, which is false. Then he decided that i must have gotten pregnant on purpose to trap him (which is also false...I was on ortho-lo and was sick for about a week) He still calls every now and then (last time was last month) to check on me. If he changes his mind about wanting to be a part of the baby's life after he's born (any day now!!!!), should I try things again with him? I need unbiased opinions! I've read questions similiar to mine and people have given really mean answers & I have been hurt so much over this these past 9 months and would appreciate only honest.

I am a single 27 year old. This past weekend I visited my friends up north. For some odd reason I felt a feeling of emptiness inside. Everyone was with their significant other. Their kids were running around, having a good time. For the past 4 to 5 months, I noticed myelf becoming more interested in babies and baby sections in retail stores. I don't understand why I feel this way. I am really terrified of relationships.
I've been burned so many times. My most recent one was with a women who just got out of a LONG relationship. We spent a lot of time together. It felt like a dream. Everything was perfect. That was the happiest I've ever been. Then she burned me. I flew 3 thousand miles twice to see. She went slept with her ex. I was really heart broken. They soon broke up again. Now we are involved again. But the feelings aren't the same. I don't trust her anymore. Her excuse was that I am not at her level of thinking...

I have finally the financial resorce to leave my abusive and financially burden of a byfrnd.He owes my rents alot of money wich i know he will pay back anyway I want to play it kool so he doesn't kick me out b4 dec1( Ifound a new place) I want to play it kool and spring it on him sort of last min so i dnt get stuck with his bills.he hasnt worked in over a year and both my rents and I have been supporting him.The house and truck are in his name wich at this point I really don't care I just don't want to get myself screwed and move out peacefully and not like a hooker when he's not home.How should I let him know without any drama that this is what I want and I want it to go as smoothley as possible?

What do you think?
- have a guy friend that i like. we slept together three times, as friends with benefits. then he said we should back off for now because he only likes me as a friend.

- when i mention a new guy i might be interested in, he seems interested in what i am saying, but is quick to point out the bad qualities the guy possesses. he gets really over-protective.

- he never compliments me, because he says he would be leading me on. but he is quick to point out all the stuff he DOESN'T like about me. It hurts my feelings and we wind up getting into aurguments.

- he says that nothing i ever do will change the fact that he only likes me as a friend. that he will never be interested in me romatically at all. which stings, because i hate to be ruled out all together.

- when i mention any other girl he is talking to, he is quick to state that he isn't sleeping with any of them, just talking. "i could have anyone, but i haven't had sex with anyone else.." - which, i'm ruled out, why would i care?

anyone have any ideas here? because i am getting sick of the back & forth stuff..

this guy at work likes me (i'm sure of that).
i asked him if he's married.
he said "that's a trick question... yes, i am."

what does he mean when he said "that's a trick question." is he emotionally separated from his wife? or was he just joking around?

My bd asked me and my daughter to move in with him so that we could help each other get on our feet. Well that's been 3 months ago.....im having trouble understanding him. he said it was business and he had no romantic feelings.
