You might want to wait for his cues. In what way is he showing interest? If he's just being friendly, and you're mis-interpreting his actions, it might be a little embarrassing. That's just what I think, though.
Observe how he acts around you - is he acting differently (either good or bad) around you, than he is when he's around other people?
Does he talk to you a lot?
Observe first, then make your move. If you see that he may be trying to make the first move, then hold off. Let him do the work.

I guess it depends on how well you know this guy. If he's a good friend, you should maybe hint.ask him out. If you have some REALLY good suspicions that he likes you, wait for him to ask you out WHILE dropping hints. Or you could ask him out. It depends on this guy's view of being asked out by a girl. =] Good luck!

Give him the hint that you like him too. Next time you see him say hi before he can and try to be as flirtacious as you can with him. He'll get the hint that your into him.

I like Blondie's answer. There's too much pressure on guys to make the first move. I wish girls would come to me more often, cause I'm always the one that has get my courage up and go, which is okay, but just the same.

I say you give strong hints without asking him, maybe hes shy, so this strong approach should make it obvious that you are interested. and sure, you could ask him directly, but then you are opening yourself up for a shutdown. hey why not, see what us guys have to go through!

I think if this guy likes you then he will probably go and tell you that he likes you but most of the time guys are shy so if you like him back then just ask him yourself

Show some affection to him if he's interested he will come around. You will know if he doesnt like you after the displays. Most men will respond unless they are unattracted to you.
