Timing..Its all a matter of timing.
When the time is ripe the fruit will fall from the tree, the birds will fly back from Capistrano and people will commit to being in love.....lol
Love is a very enjoyable state of emotion, but a commitjment is very demanding state of reality. And, sometimes the two don't mix until the timing is there. When it comes to commitment and love-amore, it's all in the timing.

I think it depends on the person. Each of us deals with relationships in a different way. It could also depend on past relationships as well. If a person had a bad experience in the past that's going to contribute to the current one. Even if the person doesn't want it to. It still can. Some people don't want to give up their freedom either. Committing to a relationship is a big step for a lot of people.

It's a normal reaction to the wrong relationship. But unfortunately, people start dating and sleeping together within 3 months of knowing each other, and rather than stop dating when they realize they have little or no compatibility, they foolishly decide to "make it work".

Some people are afraid your gonna cheat on or leave them (trust)
Usually because something in their past leads them to feel this way (relationships they were in or parents, friends etc...)
Others want to enjoy the single life for as long as possible They want to have fun without being tied to a single person (variety is the spice of life type)
It really comes down to the relationship

It is very normal. Sometimes when men have been married before and have gotten hurt.. they tend to get cold feet.. Back off a little.. or they will run possibly. Give them their space... and dont talk about commitment.. depending how long you have been seeing him. Let me know if you need to talk... email me.

depends on the maturity level of that individual. I dated a guy for 5 years and he couldn't commit to anything - ever! I got tired of waiting around while he decided what he wanted in life, so i dumped him. It was the best thing i could have done, and wish i would have done it sooner!

Most of the time it is trust issues. Afraid of being hurt...and sometimes it is just wanting to see if something better comes along.

Probably because these individuals believe that there is something better out there thats why they wont commit.
