this guy at work likes me (i'm sure of that).
i asked him if he's married.
he said "that's a trick question... yes, i am."

what does he mean when he said "that's a trick question." is he emotionally separated from his wife? or was he just joking around?

i want to make sure what he meant so i don't end up as a homewrecker. please don't give me BS answers (i already KNOW i'm suppose to stay away)

it was just a coversation filler...didn't mean anything...
maybe he thought that you knew already and the way you asked caught him by surprise....
or maybe he wish he wasn't then he'll be yours

The simple way to handle this is to ask the question again. When he responds, "That's a trick question." Confidently smile at him and say, "No, it's not. It's a simple yes or no question. Either you are married, or you are not married. Which is it?"

This will let him know that you expect an honest answer to a direct question and that you are not up for being played by a married man. Plus, if he is divorced, or separated, he will admire you more for not taking any **** off of him and holding your ground.

Try it! I am sure you will be pleased with the results either way.

Good luck!

Well based on what you said, id have to say that he is married. just take away that whole trick question part and you got your answer. I'm guessing that he was joking at first and then told you the truth. Well that's as far as i can interpret, hope everything works out okay!

If he's telling you he's married, I'd go ahead and take him at his word. Even if he's emotionally separated, he still has a wife! You can find someone better - someone who can give a straight "no" when you ask if he's married. Don't play his games, just walk away.

Yeah, he is emotionally in heat. He just wants to get in your undies. He wasn't expecting you to ask the question so he was stalling by making that remark.

what he meant is do you want me to lie so he didn't he said the truth and the only way you can be a home wrecker is if you want the home instead of just wanted the sex
