The music my fiance and I like isn't exactly made for weddings. More for like tuning in and tuning out if you catch my drift..lol.

We are southern children and like older music, even though it wasn't our time period. We like classic rock (i.e. The Rolling Stones, Led Zeppelin, The Who, The Doors, Hendrix, Joplin and so forth), outlaw country (Waylon, Cash, Merle....) and southern rock (The Allman Brothers, Skynyrd, Bob Seger..)

The list goes on.....but it is hard to find wedding appropriate songs. Any ideas?

Thanks!

I want to know what other females think of these short, intimate relationships of “very close” friendship where a guy would give all his love to a girl (but won’t have intercourse with her), and a girl would love a guy, and give him all the emotional support he needs and they would hug and kiss each other and enjoy the time they spent together and love each other as if they are meant to be together. But after a while (***assuming they agreed to it before starting this relationship***), they would break up when they find a real, permanent partner with whom they will develop a real long term relationship, get married, and etc...

Doctor's Office

This is so true! They always ask at the doctor's office why you are there,
and you have to answer in front of others what's wrong and sometimes it is
embarrassing. There's nothing worse than a Doctor's Receptionist who insists
you tell her what is wrong with you in a room full of other patients. I know
most of us have experienced this, and I love the way this old guy handled
it.

An 86 year old man walked into a crowded waiting room and approached the
desk.... The Receptionist said, "Yes sir, what are you seeing the Doctor
for today?"

"There's something wrong with my dick", he replied. The Receptionist
became irritated and said, "You shouldn't come into a crowded waiting room
and say things like that."

"Why not? You asked me what was wrong and I told you," he said.

The Receptionist replied; "Now you've caused some embarrassment in this
room full of people. You should have said there is something wrong with your
ear or something and discussed the problem further with the Doctor in
private."

The man replied, "You shouldn't ask people questions in a room full of
strangers, if the answer could embarrass anyone. The man walked out,
waited several minutes and then re-entered.

The Receptionist smiled smugly and asked, "Yes??" "There's something
wrong with my ear", he stated. The Receptionist nodded approvingly and
smiled, knowing he had taken her advice. "And what is wrong with your ear,
Sir??"

"I can't piss out of it," he replied.

The waiting room erupted in laughter.

Do you forgive a man that cheats on you six times in a 20 year marriage? Can it be saved. What if you just found out about all of them and the current one at the same time? What if there are two kids involved? 13 and 16. Can counseling help?

My best friend’s relationship with her g/f just ended. he is depressed and is far from happiness. i m finding a new person for him ( certainly female) to let him get over his previous relationship. i m doubtful if i m doing right or not. i know his previous relationship cant be revived and if he still tries to keep a friendly relationship with his ex- girl which he wants to he will never be able to get over things all his life so I want him stop meeting his ex . am I doing right I don't know what to do

Ok, my mom is allways in a gripy mood enymore and my family is allways complaining. My dad is constanly telling me all these bad things about mom and viseversa. With all of our familys trouble my entire family is never happy enymore. I can't take my family allways complaing about eachother to me. Some-times I even think I would rather kill myself. My parents don't listen enymore, they get mad when i try to tell them what there doing, even in the nicest way. I can't take it enymore and I don't want my little brother to have to deal with this when I go of to collage in four years. What should I do if no one will listen? Plese forgive my spelling, I don't want enny smart comments right now!

Me n my guy r havin some really tough times.. Our wedding is less than 4 weeks n we haven't done any preparation yet.. The marriage is sudden cos my we r havin some problems with both of our parents.. We bought a hse so tat we can stay together and we need to produce the marriage cert b4 we can finalise the deal.. Hence the hasty marriage... My parents are totally unaware of these at all... I feel very bad abt it but the tension between my guy n my dad is too much tat he can't bring himself to talk to my dad abt it, so am I.. Only his mom knows abt these and his mom too are starting to interfere too much in it... The original plan was to do this w/o the parents and now, he's like OK abt his mom chipping in into the marriage issues... I felt quite hurt abt it.. Tried to make him see my point but in the end we always end up arguing abt it..I know very well tat we r not making any right steps or decision here but he can't understand it.. I m beginning to think twice abt it now..
