If your professor dates you then he will loose his job if it gets found out and a fling with a student is not worth loosing your job for most people. You need someone else to put your focus on and you will forget him when you start dating someone who is in a position to date you. Having a crush on a teacher is a normal part of growing up and if you face it you will come to realize that it is really just a crush. ♀
