ya everyone says you'll just know that he/she is the one. so then you feel it and you get married(I am 24,never been engaged,jus wondering)then eventually more than half marriages end in divorce.Now I c America as wanted quick results and giving up easily when they don't get them,not everyone is like that but does the saying even have any meaning anymore"you'll know when you meet the one'? ya know?I'm a fighter and I believe in love strongly.Love is a state of mind and marriage is a work of art.So if you're not meant to be with that person then when you feel that they are the one,is it YOU seeing only what you want to see?

I love my mother inlaw dearly. She would do anything in the world for me and her and I have a great friendship. I think she ruined my husband for me though! I swear some days that he is the laziest thing going. When I am at my in laws house and I see her running her butt off for her husband and her two sons, when they are totally capable of doing these simple things and she does them without batting an eye. Like cooking 3 different meals for these men. Doing my brother in laws laundry. I think my husband thinks that I am supposed to be like his mother. I love him dearly but he drives me nuts with this attitude. So my question is....Does anyone else out there suffer as I do?

I dated and was very much in love with a wonderful guy for two years. we were even engaged. For some reason we broke up, but Ive been sleeping with him for the last 3 years. Everytime he starts dating a new girl we vow to stop sleeping together, but it never happens. He's cheated on at least 5 girlfriends with me. We very briefly tried dating again last year, but said we should just stay friends. I'm tired of being the other woman, but i literally cant stop. I have no idea how it happens, it just does. He was my first love and I was his first love, but if we dont love each other anymore, whats going on?

This is very personal. I was raped 8 months ago. I swore it off and kept going with my life...i didn't date anybody. I just recently fell hard for this guy and he fell for me but things happened really fast and now he's not into me because he is so busy with 3 jobs and work. I was so hurt by that that I am thinking about getting into a relationship with a girl. I don't know where to start with the girl thing but i would like to give it a try. I want to know if there is a way to still live in the same house before getting divorced (thereby cutting on expenses) where we can split money, debt, etc and put our job paychecks into our own separate accounts? We want each of us to pay half the mortgage, half the utilities, etc out of our own separate bank accounts (funded by our jobs).

We are divorcing, but do not want to incur the added cost of separate housing, utilities, etc until the divorce is final. This will allow us to start have a separate financial situation (as in divorce).

We have two children and own a home.

I hate how no matter what question is asked there is always one girl that hates the question to start out with. I asked the question does anyone have tips on picking up girls. And i get this response back that says just because i asked that question i am a sleeze bag(not in that context but thats for sure what the girl thought). Can you help me understand why my boyfriend, who has professed his undying love for me, tells me I'm the most wonderful woman he's ever known, wants to spend the rest of his life with me, yes he has said this, and in moving forward with the relationship, we are now living together, has posted profiles on personal sites including yahoo personals, saying that he is living in another city, but looking for a serious relationship.
Is this an ego thing? It's not like he can go meet someone for coffee if he's a 1000 miles away from where he says he's living. HELP!!!

Ok, there is this guy I REALLY like. The problem is, he's 15, and I'm only 12. He's also my brother's friend. I realize I'm too young to date now, but I really want it to work out between us maybe in a few years. A few times I've been almost to the point of crying over it, because I really like this guy a lot, but I'm afraid he's too old for me. I am almost subconsciously mean. I don't know why and it has been this way for like the past five years. I am somewhat of a social misfit (I am in high school last year). I was sexually abused as a kid so I guess it might be insecurity but, I just find myself just blurting out really mean stuff when someone says something that is slightly incorrect. As you can imagine, people don't like me much. Is there a way I could change this? I have tried the whole counting before you talk and it only lasts for a while. I guess another thing is that I don't have much to be happy about. I have no girlfriend or great friends. Just a bunch of really hard classes. So, has anyone had this problem and what do you suggest?

Well today me and my family went to a family thing. and my dad noticed that I wasn't talking to anyone, so he was asking if there was anything wrong, (I said) "no, I'm like this all the time"
(My dad said) "well your like me, I'm either too self conscious or to scared to take a risk, and if you don't take risks then it will never pay off.
So I'm both of those too, and I want to know if it's inherited or because I'v become degrading to myself because I find my self unpleasant?
