Ok, there is this guy I REALLY like. The problem is, he's 15, and I'm only 12. He's also my brother's friend. I realize I'm too young to date now, but I really want it to work out between us maybe in a few years. A few times I've been almost to the point of crying over it, because I really like this guy a lot, but I'm afraid he's too old for me. I've had other crushes before, but this seems way different somehow. We're both Christians, our families are too, and I've been praying about it, but there has not been an answer yet. What do you think I should do?

wait,,,wait and wait, i know it might really seem stressful at times, and you might probably think that he is the one, it does not necessarily mean that just because you are both christians and that youve been praying for it, that what you feel is the right thing, you must know that perhaps God is not answering because at age 12 what youre just experiencing is infatuation, or romantic infatuation, that is not love ,you are too young and confused, even 20 year old women dont know what they want even 40 year old women can prettily get messed up about relationships, enjoy your younger years, dont stress over this matter, let things come naturally, before you love someone else improve and love yourself first

woa, cool down. ok im 15, and i kinda know how you feel cus i feel the exact same way for this one guy who is 22. the difference is that you have a chance in the next 2 maybe 3 years. when you are, say 13 and he is 16 it should be ok. dont despair, you have a chance, i dont (at least not for the next 5 years. GOOD LUCK!!

First of all if you are twelve. I want to say I am impressed with your grammar. :) Umm.. Sweetie listen in a few years you will probably be interested in someone else, and if not then obviously it was intended to work out that way. I would not worry about it. My cousin he is 4 years older than his wife. When she was in highschool and he in college she was in love with him!!! He used to be best friends with her brother and she always used think about him, she even said she would envy his girlfriends. Well now they are happily married :) Have been for about 10 years now

Wait till you grow up. By that time you might be over this 'crush' as your thoughts and reasoning will change as you mature. And no, he is not too old for you. So just wait.
