I dated and was very much in love with a wonderful guy for two years. we were even engaged. For some reason we broke up, but Ive been sleeping with him for the last 3 years. Everytime he starts dating a new girl we vow to stop sleeping together, but it never happens. He's cheated on at least 5 girlfriends with me. We very briefly tried dating again last year, but said we should just stay friends. I'm tired of being the other woman, but i literally cant stop. I have no idea how it happens, it just does. He was my first love and I was his first love, but if we dont love each other anymore, whats going on?

Sex is going on. Comfortable sex. I would suggest that you stop because if you don't he won't. And don't think about getting back with him because he is a cheater. He could change, but I would suggest letting him change with someone else before you consider restarting your relationship.

Simply, you're addicted. He's your drug and you need help. You deserve the real mccoy. Go cold turkey, cut yourself off, find a f*ck buddy to help you get over the loss of the sex. If that doesnt work, get professional help. Steer clear of him until the withdrawals of the addiction are over. When you are strong enough to avoid his tempting drug, then and only then can you try and be his friend. If he is really a friend, he will understand and co operate. If you don't mind living like this, then disregard my advice.
I've been there, I know how it feels and what it takes to get over it.

He's just a bad habit and bad habits are hard to break. Try saying "no" the first time, you'll be proud of yourself and it will be easier to say "no" the second time. It's like quitting smoking. Takes willpower. You can do it! You'll be glad you did. You need to get on with your life. Good luck

It's time to you to move on now. Since you guys seem unable to stay friends neither, I suggest you stop friendship with him also. I don't think you can do anything to change him and that the more time you spend with him, the worse it will be. He was your first love, so what? Did you catch "WAS"? He WAS, so move on.

One or both of you have self esteem, control, commitment issues. Having sex with some one you don't really want to be with is wrong in many ways. Sometimes a person does so because it is "comfortable" or they feel obligated in some way, you may also feel intimidated by them. Or that you somehow are still important to him because he comes back to you for easy sex. with no strings.
